Church of art all in stone with cloister inside. Wonderful. open only for important occasions. Run by the immaculate nuns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una meravigliosa chiesa in stile romanico, ubicata in piazza Leopardi delizioso scorcio di Albaro dal sapore parigino. Purtroppo la chiesa è aperta e visitabile solo in occasioni particolari: Venerdì Santo per i sepolcri, concerti o visite guidate organizzate. Un vero gioiello se si ha la fortuna di poterla visitare.
A marvelous Romanesque church, located in piazza Leopardi, a delightful glimpse of Albaro with a Parisian flavor. Unfortunately, the church is open and can only be visited on special occasions: Good Friday for sepulchres, concerts or organized guided tours. A real gem if you are lucky enough to visit it.

Una delle più antiche e meglio conservate testimonianze dell'architettura romanica a Genova, con il portale che presenta una bella lunetta con affresco, ma purtroppo non è sempre visitabile. Da qui parte una delle più caratteristiche "creuze" di Albaro, via Parini, affiancata da ville signorili di 16emo e 17emo secolo.
Small medieval church, which shows the side and not the main facade on the tree-lined square. One of the oldest and best preserved examples of Romanesque architecture in Genoa, with a portal that has a beautiful lunette with fresco, but unfortunately it is not always open to visitors. From here one of the most characteristic "creuze" of Albaro, via Parini, flanked by stately villas of 16th and 17th century.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale la pena di spingersi fino ad Albaro per visitare questa chiesa di epoca romana ma con elementi che anticipano il gotico, il suo interno non mancherà di affascinarvi. Alti archi in pietra sono retti da massicci pilastri a croce e la grande sobrietà monocroma la fa apparire come un sipario di pietra che chiude fuori la città e i suoi problemi per preservare una dimensione interiore e privata.
It is worth going as far as Albaro to visit this Roman church but with elements that anticipate the Gothic, its interior will not fail to fascinate you. High stone arches are supported by massive cross-shaped pillars and the great monochrome sobriety makes it look like a stone curtain that closes out the city and its problems to preserve an interior and private dimension.
