S	SALVATORE PATACCA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di Santa Maria di Portosalvo è un luogo di culto cattolico di Napoli situato in Via Alcide de Gasperi ,all'inizio di via Marina nella zona del porto, è detta anche fuori le mura in quanto sorgeva, appunto fuori le mura della città.Intorno al xvi secolo,un marinaio, Bernardo Belladonna, ebbe una grazia per essere scampato ad un nubifragio e sentì il bisogno di sdebitarsi fondando insieme ad altri Marinai ed Armatori,una congrega con annessa Cappella. Il 31 maggio1554 il Cardinale accordo' il permesso ed il 1 Giugno venendo eletti governatori della consegna il Belladonna,Nardò Calvanico,Annibale De Pronilo e fra Albano.la zona scelta fu alquanto insolita perché originariamente era una sporgenza di terra bagnata su tre lati dal mare ed inoltre si trovava fuori Porta di Massa The Church of Santa Maria di Portosalvo is a Catholic place of worship in Naples located in Via Alcide de Gasperi, at the beginning of Via Marina in the port area, it is also called outside the walls as it stood, precisely outside the city walls.
