R	Renzo Spitoni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visto il suo isolamento bisogna organizzare la visita ma questa difficoltà di accesso poi gratifica gli occhi e lo spirito per la sua elegante bellezza che si esprime nella semplicità delle linee costruttive. Sobria nel suo stile che risalta come una bianca perla la sua pietra in contrasto con il verde del bosco e l'azzurro del mare. Davvero un gioiello che sa donare agli occhi ed allo spirito stupore e meraviglia ? Given its isolation it is necessary to organize the visit but this difficulty of access then gratifies the eyes and the spirit for its elegant beauty that is expressed in the simplicity of the construction lines. Sober in its style that stands out like a white pearl its stone in contrast with the green of the forest and the blue of the sea. Truly a jewel that knows how to give the eyes and the spirit amazement and wonder ?
A	Alessandro Belfiore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto bellissimo e ben conservato. Peccato l'apertura al pubblico sia molto limitata. Fino a gennaio 2022 solo il venerdì e la domenica dalle 10 alle 12.30. Facile da raggiungere parcheggio a circa 200 metri gratuito da ottobre. Beautiful and well preserved place. Too bad the opening to the public is very limited. Until January 2022 only on Fridays and Sundays from 10 to 12.30. Easy to reach parking about 200 meters free from October.

Fortunatamente oggi era aperta e grazie soprattutto alla gent.le sig.ra Marisa (volontaria dell'associazione che cura amabilmente questo luogo) che con amore e professionalità ci ha guidato nel visitare questo luogo. A place where history and religion walk together beyond belief. Fortunately today it was open and thanks above all to the kind Mrs. Marisa (volunteer of the association who amiably takes care of this place) who with love and professionalism has guided us in visiting this place.

Ma la prossima mi godrò il paesaggio di giorno. Magnifico posto di relax. I had been returning to this place for years, and I must say that it has kept its charm. This time I was there at dawn .. Situata a sud della baia da sempre è il simbolo di Portonovo. Molto bella. Overlooking the sea, this old Benedictine abbey, also called the Church of Sanxenxo, it is a real jewel of Romanesque architecture. Located just south of the bay has always been the symbol of Portonovo. Very beautiful.

Quest'antica struttura conserva ancora, benché più volte restaurata, le linee originali e l'impianto a croce greca. All'interno l'ampio spazio è diviso in 5 navate dalle numerose colonne. Una visita imperdibile per chi viene a portonovo The church is the only surviving building of a Benedictine monastery from the 10th-11th century. This ancient structure still retains, although restored several times, the original lines and the Greek cross layout. Inside, the large space is divided into 5 naves with numerous columns. An unmissable visit for those who come to portonovo

Le recinzioni sono degne di un campo di concentramento... Vedi foto. Un vero peccato. Unreachable, it looks like a private property, closed by an automatic gate. No modality of access indicated at the entrance. The fences are worthy of a concentration camp ... See photos. Such a pity.
