★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antico castello dei signori di Buscemi, la famiglia Requisenz, ormai ridotto ad un cumulo di ruderi, da il benvenuto ai visitatori di Buscemi dalla sommità della collinetta antistante il paese. Danneggiato dopo il famigerato terremoto del 1693, venne poi convertito in convento.
Il sito è sempre accessibile per una visita di quel poco che rimane e della magnifica vista sulla valle dell'Anapo che regala.
Completamente avvolto dalla vegetazione selvatica, alcuni muri ed archi testimoniano la grandezza e la bellezza che doveva avere in passato. Dalle finestre che ancora rimangono, il paese di Buscemi si mostra nella sua interezza offrendo un panorama davvero impagabile.
Peccato non sia maggiormente curato e pubblicizzato.
Ancient castle of the lords of Buscemi, the Requisenz family, now reduced to a heap of ruins, welcomes visitors to Buscemi from the top of the hill in front of the town. Damaged after the infamous 1693 earthquake, it was later converted into a convent.
The site is always accessible for a visit of what little remains and of the magnificent view of the Anapo valley that offers.
Completely enveloped in wild vegetation, some walls and arches testify to the greatness and beauty it must have had in the past. From the windows that still remain, the town of Buscemi shows itself in its entirety, offering a truly priceless view.
