Perfetto per una cena d'asporto sui gradini della chiesa San Giovanni evangelista. In due abbiamo mangiato abbondantemente spendendo meno di 10€. A Modica tappa obbligata. Honest prices for the quality and variety proposed. Modica kitchen products. Perfect for a take-away dinner on the steps of the San Giovanni Evangelist church. In two we ate abundantly for less than € 10. A Modica must see.

Sono stata richiamata perché indossavo la mascherina con le mani, visto che si era rotta poco prima di entrare nel locale. Mentre erano loro i primi a non indossarla mentre servivano alla gente. Dunque : non rimproverate le persone, vostre clienti, se voi siete i primi a non dare l'esempio. Non credo di ritornarci. Good focaccia, even if the quality is different compared to a few years ago. Occorrerebbe prestare molta attenzione ai prodotti base. Generally when my stomach rebels in digestion it means that something is wrong. In the past the quality has been better. Rappresenta una pietra miliare per chi come me è cresciuto a Modica: leggendarie sono le arancine con la punta sempre super croccante. Non da meno le “scacce” (focacce per gli amici italianissimi) di ogni tipologia: in base al periodo da provare con i topinambur, con il prezzemolo e la cipolla o semplicemente al pomodoro e cipolla. Ancora, propongono la pizza al taglio con il pesce ? epica! Vi suggerisco di prendere un pezzo (almeno 1 ?) di rosticceria, un spuma rigorosamente Polara e di fare take away per andare a mangiare ai piedi delle scale della Chiesa di San Giorgio che dal locale dista circa 10 min a piedi The rotisserie should be included in every tourist route! It represents a milestone for those like me who grew up in Modica: the arancine with a super crunchy tip are legendary. Also warm was the way I was greeted and welcomed. The woman who helped me was so friendly, and she was very patient with my limited Italian. I love the cone shape of these beauties, which were crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. Delicious.
