I only ate focaccia of various flavors in this bakery. I was so shocked that I will always remember the taste. Never eaten something so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic roasticceria. The arancini, foccacia and pastries are delicious. I would recommend for any tourist to try and enjoy the local taste of modica. The food is always hot and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While visiting Sicily on holiday we were told about scacce by our Sicilian friends who live near Catania. They explained that it is a specialty of the Ragusa area, and that it was extremely delicious. We decided to pick up some scacce on the way back from Modica to bring to our friends for dinner.
We stopped at L'arte della foccaccia da Spadaro. We tried three different kinds of scacce: pomodoro e melanzana, pomodoro e formaggio, and pomodoro e cipolla. They were all delicious.
Scacce is a unique food and I've never had anything quite like it. I highly recommend trying the scacce at L'arte della foccaccia da Spadaro if you are in the area.
