This place is quite impressive. On the site of the Teatro Romano you can't find any information table or something like that. We had to look it up by ourselves. At least we didn't find any...

Beautiful historical sight. If you’re traveling to Trieste, it’s something what you “must see”. It’s free, located in the city centre, but you can’t go inside. New buildings around the monument may spoil the impression...

Beautiful piece of history which, unfortunately, is closed presently. It is really a picture into yesterday and easily worth a few minutes walk. If you get there, be sure to venture up the stone staircase to the right of the amphitheatre; it leads from behind the amphitheatre over to twovchurches overlooking the city.

Fascinating historically monument that has stood for centuries. Smaller than I imagined but no less impressive. Slightly spolied by the manekins placed there as a presumed art installation. I know art is subjective but I do not think these added anything and to the contrary, took away. Would be good to have an explanation board but It was built between I and II century A.C. from Emperor Traiano. Originally, its structure was made of stone and wood, it had around 6000 seat places. Google can provide more.

The Roman Theatre of Trieste (Teatro Romano) rumored to have been built between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, is located right in the city center, at the foot of San Giusto hill

Nothing spectacular. Just an old amphitheater like structure, which looked nice. This place is very near the central region and just beside the road. Worth taking a look if you are in Trieste.

Thought it was going to be more impressive. On side of road. Shame you can’t get inside to walk round it. Worth a look if you’re passing by but not worth going out of your way for.

Beautiful structure, amazingly well preserved. You can pay to go inside, but you can also walk completely around for free with a great view inside from the backside. There is even a coffee shop with tables that overlook the inside if you would like to savor the view. ☕️
