★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful piece of history which, unfortunately, is closed presently. It is really a picture into yesterday and easily worth a few minutes walk. If you get there, be sure to venture up the stone staircase to the right of the amphitheatre; it leads from behind the amphitheatre over to twovchurches overlooking the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating historically monument that has stood for centuries. Smaller than I imagined but no less impressive. Slightly spolied by the manekins placed there as a presumed art installation. I know art is subjective but I do not think these added anything and to the contrary, took away. Would be good to have an explanation board but It was built between I and II century A.C. from Emperor Traiano. Originally, its structure was made of stone and wood, it had around 6000 seat places. Google can provide more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing spectacular. Just an old amphitheater like structure, which looked nice. This place is very near the central region and just beside the road. Worth taking a look if you are in Trieste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful structure, amazingly well preserved. You can pay to go inside, but you can also walk completely around for free with a great view inside from the backside. There is even a coffee shop with tables that overlook the inside if you would like to savor the view. ☕️
