As much as you can love a train terminal - it's easy access, easy to find your platform, etc. The toilettes cost a euro to use, but are clean and there seems to be a full time attendant there to clean via the Covid worries. Signage is easy to follow. Lots of shopping and tourist shoppes. Taxis are abundant outside in Rome, at least.

This is Termini and a beast of a train station, connecting to the airport, all Italian cities, and the rest of Europe. The station is vast and it is somewhat easy to get lost but everything works fine and the arrival and departure times for trains are displayed in multiple monitors all over the place. Some good options for food if you are waiting for your connection, in a quieter area upstairs but not many seating areas elsewhere. Termini connects direct to the subway system but one needs to be prepared to walk a bit. In other words, nothing spectacular, just a well-run train station.

Roma Termini (in Italian, Stazione Termini) (IATA: XRJ) is the main railway station of Rome, Italy. It is named after the district of the same name, which in turn took its name from ancient Baths of Diocletian (in Latin, thermae), which lie across the street from the main entrance.[ On 25 February 1863, Pope Pius IX opened the first, temporary Termini Station as the terminus of the Rome–Frascati, Rome–Civitavecchia and Rome-Ceprano lines. The first two lines previously had separate stations elsewhere in the city, and, as the third line was under development, the city chose to build one central station, as opposed to the Paris model of having separate terminus stations for each line or each direction. The dilapidated Villa Montalto-Peretti, erected in the 16th Century by Pope Sixtus V, was chosen as the site for this new station, which was to be called the "Stazione Centrale delle Ferrovie Romane" (Central Station of Roman Railways).

Messy. Not enough bathrooms. Just one supermarket where you can buy water, but lots of stores with bags and other stuff.

Huge and Extremely busy Train Station. Super Crowded place, but very Beautiful and so many good stores for having meals, quick shopping, etc. Everything's well organized. There are so many Self-service Ticket Machine every where inside the Station. (ITALO, FRECCIAROSSA, REGIONAL TRAINS) and even there are counters for buying tickets too, they speak good English and so friendly??️ The most important thing is be careful of PICKPOCKETS. There are huge number of pocket runners out there, be aware of that. Other than that, Beautiful Train station with with best branded shops out there to be with, until your train arrives.?❤️

It’s like a shopping mall combined with a train station. I found the architectural aspects bold. Lots of amenities. A bit dirty with homeless around but nothing horrible.

Well connected to airport and all parts of the city with local transport. All the hop on hop off tours start here. A stay around here is convinient to go around Rome and day trips from Rome. Beauty is the birds in the evening.
