★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasta is phenomenal. I had the seafood spaghetti one night and my wife had a pesto one the next. We both LOVED those dishes. The pizza we had the other night was pretty good as well. Desserts we had were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality was excellent. We ordered creamy mushroom risotto, spaghetti with clams in garlic butter sauce, Penne pasta with walnut sauce. The view is so perfect, right in front of the lake and the mountains. And we saw full moon rising from behind the mountains, while having this delicious food. Just what you need to make your overall experience beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value and food. We dined here on two evenings during a week stay at the Grand Hotel. The service was excellent. Food authentic, tasty and good quality. We were surprised how inexpensive it was compared to some other places in the locale.
The views of the lake are just perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was screamed at by the hostess for asking for a little more basil on my gnocchi. She screamed “You made a mistake and have to order and pay for a whole new meal!” telling me I should have ordered pesto. I said all I wanted was a little more of the basil flecks already scattered on the plate, for which I should not pay again. After more argument she said, “The chef is too busy! Come and you will see!” I was the only diner in a room with 25 seats. The gnocchi was flavorless, rubbery and frozen, with an orange, pre-fabricated processed cheese sauce and a smattering of ground walnut dust. I dutifully followed her toward the kitchen, where her mother smiled at me, her father took my plate pleasantly and I asked them not to waste this food, just throw on some more basil. Exhausted, I ate quickly and went to pay. Her husband added an extra €2 for “Couvert” - a basket he set on my table with with four thin shavings of a white baguette, nothing else, and charged me €2 more than the menu gnocchi price.

The staff (a small family) was super friendly, happy and attentive to our needs and wishes.
The food was absolutely delicious! Full of flavor, great presentation and fair portion.
Even though the restaurant is a bit outdated, the view is fantastic if you chose to seat outside.
