★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have to say after reading such lovely reviews we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant. However we were disappointed. Only 4 main course at secondi piatti. The lamb was not there after i ask for it. So only 3 main courses. My pasta was cold and the Guinea fowl was okay. The Grouper fillet was with shell fish but not mentioned in the menu. The fish was dry and not interesting considering the price. The red wine was highly over priced. The best thing was the chocolate desert. The staff were pleasant but we were rushed. Not a restaurant to revisit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can not speak enough good things about this place. The setting is beyond beautiful. The food is authentic, fresh and reasonably priced. However, most impressive is the people who work here. They attend to your every need and treat you like a cousin. I had arranged to bring a group of 30 people with me on a trip to Sicily. This was one of my spots that I pre-arranged for a celebration dinner. They were super accommodating and catered to every one of my needs and concerns. All of our guests raved. They still talk about it 2 years later. After the party was completed (with surprise whole half roasted veal and super sized surprise Cassata for dessert), I realized that we were the only people in the house that night. They weren't even open for the season yet. They had pulled off this party by bringing staff, cooks and managers back together for our event. Over the 2 months of planning they never even mentioned that they were closed for the season. That's how accommodating they were. Great Place! Great Food! Great People! you must stop even if you are only 2 people. Its a nice place to get away from the tourist traps in the main area of Taormina (this place is down the hill near the hotels at the coast). I have been here before with just 4 people and 2 people. Always Great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try and find a more interesting location than this completely renovated little castle, where staring at the ceiling is exciting. Our room had a stunning view over the sea, and Mt. Etna seems awfully close from just around the corner. The restaurant offers very good food, a bit overpriced compared to what is common in Sicily, but quality may have its price, and this level is definitely more expensive at home. Wines are good and affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant with a nice view, great food and attention to the details. All tables are on the quite terrace overlooking the bay. We went for a dinner hosted by invited Michelin star chiefs. The service was outstanding.Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Views of isola bella are out of this world. Gorgeous restaurant sitting on the outside terrace with flowers and plants on the buildings. Not far from the beach. Pricey but the food was excellent. The risotto had great floral undertones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful tasting and presented food. Our waiter was lovely and entertaining. Beautiful view of the ocean. We walked up from our hotel, taking about 40min but worth the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with high expectations, was not disappointed by their excellent service. The terrasse is very nice and you get a nice view on the coast.
Food-wise, you can taste the high-quality products. However, for that price, I was expecting better.
Overall, very satisfied but it missed something to be amazed, no 'wow' effect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restarting is in great surrounding but I found it expensive and not anything above and beyond. I also got orange juice with mould floating in my glass. The service was very good and the staff did make you feel very special! Same about the orange juice!
