★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awesome fresh local food. The owner is just a very nice, knowledgebal person who can descripe you every dish perfectly in english. All fresh, tasty and well served. And, try the local white wine, delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience with good food, service and atmosphere. We ordered just the Fisherman's Pan but it's more than enough we can finish. The whole pot is full of seafood fresh from the Cinque Terre coast. The service is excellent with lots of smile and hospitality. Thanks for the fabulous meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here unexpectedly while staying in Manarola for a few nights. An orange weather alert closed all the businesses in Cinque Terre, so we hopped on the train to La Spezia, and I am very fortunate fate put us at Ristorante Roma.
We began with the seafood salad- everything we wanted in one dish while staying along the Italian coast. Warmed slightly, the perfect amount of acidity, loaded with fresh octopus, squid, mussels, clams, and shrimp. Fantastic
Next we had this regions traditional pesto dish. Made with the unique pasta to this area (forget the name) and a light/fragrant/creamy pesto with a handful of green beans and potatoes. Stunning example of the traditional dish, I’ll be having dreams about this one.
I had the beef with porcini mushrooms and black truffle, and my partner had the Turbot. Both prepared perfectly, flavor bombs.
Dessert we had the sampler (forget the real name). The WALNUT pie is absolutely superb. To top it all off, our waiter was in every way a true professional and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the experience, and spoke English. We were introduced to the owner while leaving, she made us feel even more welcome and appreciated before ending our night. 6 out of 5 stars.

We ordered a spaghetti alle vongole, oysters, sea salad and a ligurian veggie dish. Every single one of them was cooked to perfection, tasting exactly like how we expected. Specifically the vongole dish stood out the most. Aside from having the basics done correctly, the chef added a bit of his/her color to the dish and it was different than any other vongole dishes I've had in Italy so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with nice staffs and warm services. Got Both air conditioning indoor and outside seats. Prices are fair with good services and food is delicious too. Chef gifted a special oyster for free before the meal. Had a relaxing great time there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews are great but admittedly, as I walked up I almost passed it by. Am I glad I didn’t. Incredible presentation all around. From the tables to the waiter to the food. Both my wife and I had the salmon and a mixed salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Make sure you look for the picture of the plate! My wife had white wine with her meal. I had red. The jazz music was soothing and made for a romantic experience. The restaurant plays a silent slide show of the region and old photos of La Spezia. It was a very nice touch. Our waiter was a very humble soul that took very good care of us. He constantly apologized for his lack of English, but we should speak Italian, right? He did a great job. Go! You’ll be glad you did.
