★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food with a combination of classic local dishes and culinary experiments with a twist, that turn out fantastic. Very friendly staff, willing to go that little extra to make your stay interesting. Nice details: check out the ceramics and glasses. Finally: don't hold back and - after for example the smoked gnocchi with liquorice - go for the full tasting desert. You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’d give 6 stars if I could. The cocktails match the quality of the food. My only complaint is they don’t have a Roman vomitorium so I could try more things. I’m not that much of a drinker but every sip made me want something new each Ingredient was so special and unique. We actually stopped for a slice of pizza before we decided on the restaurant so this was not hunger delusions. I ordered a fabulously rare steak that had a layer of onions on top with a texture like nothing we have experienced. The carbonara had this creamy goodness like a savory melted ice cream.
But I need to be honest the service had me concerned. If the staff was any more kind or attentive it might overshadow the food and drinks. Everyone worked like a precision clock, but with out any stress or rush. The staff seemed to work as a team and cover the table at all times. It was great to spend an evening with people that loved their work!!!

The place is super nice. There is an inside and an outside area in the backyard (about twice as big as the inside). The place looks super authentic with a lot of old stone elements. The main inside area has a window which allows a view into the kitchen which ist pretty amazing!
Food
The food is absolutely amazing!!! Great to look at, as it is garnished/presented in a super fancy/appealing way. Both the quality as well as the taste were really great. Fresh, well prepared. And in amazingly creative ways! See for yourself (Pictures!)
Service
The service was also absolutely outstanding. A Bit of a mistery how they did that, as the restaurant was pretty full when we were there. The service was fast and super friendly + they explained all the details of the food served + answered any questions that came up.
Value
The prices are absolutely fair considering what you get for it. We had an absolutely marvellous evening and really enjoyed ourselves. We had two starters and two main courses, a bottle of wine and water + a shared dessert plate. All that for about 130 Euros.
All in all: an amazing place to visit and highly recommend!!! (It's not for no reason they were also featured in all the foodie magazines :-). )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a quick lunch before we left La Spezia. Arrived slightly earlier than reservation time but were still warmly greeted and welcomed. Ordered a soup, pasta and beef carpaccio and the staff, knowing that we shared the food, kindly split it to two. Every dish is perfectly executed. Worth every cent of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here as a recommendation from our hotel. Cocktails were great (long list to choose from) Wine list is also great. We were at the terrace for dinner very good ambiance. Food is not that great. The spaghetti vongole was Way TOO SALTY. Service took a bit long. Not worth the buzz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy restaurant with fabulous service. The waiters are very prompt in service and very friendly and cheerful. The dishes are amazing right from the start. I recommend having the pumpkin cream, octopus and fish tartare!
