Spero di poter provare presto il ristorante. For now I have only tried the take-away pizza: very good, light and with many varieties of flavors. Always ready on time. Hope to try the restaurant soon.

Avevo letto le recensioni ed avevo visitato il loro sito dove erano descritti molti piatti sia della cucina mantovana che altri, ad esempio le tigelle, quindi sono andata convinta di mangiare bene. Stiamo arrivati dopo aver prenotato. Ci hanno fatto accomodare all'aperto. Bella location nella piazza del paese. Il menù era molto limitato rispetto alle descrizioni del sito anche perché, alcuni piatti prevedevano minimo 2 porzioni. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni non mi è stata fatta risposta se non che i piatti scritti erano gli unici disponibili. Forzatamente poiché le cose che mi aspettavo non c'erano e quelle che avrei gradito richiedevano un minimo di due porzioni, anche se avrei assaggiato volentieri la cucina locale, ho ripiegato sulla pizza. Ad onor del vero la pizza era molto buona, sottile come piace a me, ma.. al posto dei porcini scritti sul menù c'erano gli champignon... L'altro commensale ha preso i tortelli di zucca, buoni. Il servizio non è stato dei più veloci. Vero che parecchi tavoli erano occupati, ma noi siamo arrivati quando molti avevano già quasi finito di cenare. Ci hanno chiesto dall'inizio se volevamo l'acqua, dopo di ché nessuno ci ha più chiesto se volessimo qualcosa d'altro come bevande, così come nessuno ci ha offerto altre portate. Abbiamo chiesto noi, alla fine, un caffè. Per il conto ho dovuto aspettare e alla fine andare a sollecitare perché volevo andarmene. In conclusione la stellina è soltanto per il cibo che era buono, senza eccellere. Non mi sento di consigliarlo. Prezzo nella media tendente all'alto. Disappointing experience. I had read the reviews and had visited their website where many dishes were described both from the Mantuan cuisine and others, such as tigelle, so I went convinced that I was eating well. We arrived after booking. They made us sit outside. Beautiful location in the town square. The menu was very limited compared to the descriptions on the site also because some dishes included a minimum of 2 portions. When I asked for an explanation, I was not answered except that the written dishes were the only ones available. Forcibly since the things I expected were not there and the ones I would have liked required a minimum of two portions, even if I would have gladly tasted the local cuisine, I fell back on pizza. To be honest the pizza was very good, thin as I like it, but ... instead of the mushrooms written on the menu there were mushrooms ... The other diner took the pumpkin ravioli, good. The service was not the fastest. It is true that several tables were occupied, but we arrived when many had almost finished dinner. They asked us from the beginning if we wanted water, after which no one asked us again if we wanted anything else like drinks, just as no one offered us any other courses. In the end, we asked for a coffee. For the bill I had to wait and eventually go and ask why I wanted to leave. In conclusion, the star is only for the food which was good, without excelling. I don't feel like recommending it. Average price tending to high.
T	Tiziana Botteri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante "Scacciapensieri" a San Benedetto Po in provincia di Mantova...prima della nostra visita all'Abbazia di Polirone!!...il locale chiaramente è in posizione strategica!!...proprio vicino alla Piazza!!...abbiamo mangiato i tortelli di zucca che erano veramente speciali...a seguire la tagliata di manzo che purtroppo ci è arrivata già fredda!!...gli spinaci invece non ci sono mai arrivati!!...a seguire come dessert abbiamo ordinato le chiacchere...dato il periodo di Carnevale!!!...poi il caffè il tutto accompagnato da acqua e un vino da tavola del posto!!!...la signora che portava i piatti...purtroppo veniva al tavolo con la mascherina abbassata!!...altra pecca che ho trovato...per un locale cosi' vista la posizione fantastica!!!...la toilette!!!...fate dare una pulita che ne ha bisogno!!...si si sicuramente può migliorare! ... we stopped at this restaurant "Scacciapensieri" in San Benedetto Po in the province of Mantua ... before our visit to the Abbey of Polirone !! ... the place is clearly in a strategic position !! ... right near the square !! ... we ate the pumpkin ravioli which were really special ... to follow the cut of beef which unfortunately arrived already cold !! ... the spinach never got there !!. .. to follow as dessert we ordered the chat ... given the Carnival period !!! ... then the coffee all accompanied by water and a local table wine !!! ... the lady who brought the dishes ... unfortunately he came to the table with the mask down !! ... another flaw I found ... for a place like this given the fantastic location !!! ... the toilet !!! ... let them give a clean that needs it !! ... you can definitely improve!
D	Daniele Castaldelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ne avevo sentito parlare bene su Telemantova, effettivamente sullo schermo era tutto bello e sembrava buono, purtroppo dal vivo ho trovato un ambiente poco curato, pavimento sporco, ragnatele, polvere, il tutto dove stavo mangiando. Menù ridotto, non come me lo aspettavo dalla presentazione televisiva. Il cibo è il vino erano tristi, ho mangiato perché avevo fame ma non era invitante. Che dire i prezzi sono sicuramente nella media ma non sono adeguati alla qualità del cibo che mi è stato servito che somiglia molto ad un pranzo di lavoro a prezzo fisso 12 €. La posizione è molto bella, nella Piazza di San Benedetto po. C'è molto da lavorare per migliorarlo, non mi sento in tutta onestà di consigliarlo. I had heard good things about it on Telemantova, actually everything was beautiful on the screen and it looked good, unfortunately live I found an uncared for environment, dirty floor, cobwebs, dust, all where I was eating. Reduced menu, not as I expected from the TV presentation. Food and wine were sad, I ate because I was hungry but it was not inviting. What can I say, the prices are certainly average but they are not adequate for the quality of the food that I was served which looks a lot like a 12 € fixed price business lunch. The location is very nice, in the Piazza di San Benedetto po. There is a lot of work to do to improve it, I don't feel honestly recommending it.
