★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo tornati per una cena a giugno 2021 dopo la precedente esperienza di settembre 2020. Confermata ottima cena con alici fritte, polpo alla Luciana, paccheri al ragù di polpo, fritto misto. Altra nota positiva: nonostante il locale fosse pieno ci è stato preparato un piatto di pasta al sugo per un bimbo piccolo. Anche questa volta abbiamo avuto una buona impressione dal fatto che il locale fosse frequentato da gente del posto più che da turisti. Per i prezzi allego foto menù.
 We returned for a dinner in June 2021 after the previous September 2020 experience. Confirmed excellent dinner with fried anchovies, Luciana-style octopus, paccheri with octopus ragout, mixed fried. Another positive note: despite the place being full, a dish of pasta with sauce was prepared for a small child. Also this time we got a good impression from the fact that the place was frequented by locals rather than tourists. For the prices I attach photos of the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered pizza for takeaway very spontaneously on a friday evening after an other restaurant was full and we couldn’t get pizza there. Il veliero seemed very full too but we got our 4 pizzas after 15min. It was very delicious and the next time this restaurant will be our first choice (not just the second). :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for the service rather than the food - which we weren't able to try (read on). Our first night in San Vincenzo (a Saturday and high season) we called for takeaway only to be told they were too busy. OK - no problem - we knew not many restaurants in San Vincenzo and it was 9PM. The next evening we walked over to see if they were busy again (they were - although others were waiting for takeaway, so I will assume they had pre-ordered earlier) and asked when we should call the day after for takeaway. Once we could get the hostess' attention, we were told starting 1830. We called the next day at 1830 only to be told AGAIN that they were too busy. Either we were particularly unlucky or they weren't interested in our business or couldn't be bothered with non-Italian speakers. So we called Pizzeria Blue Marlin nearby and they took our order immediately, and we used them for the rest of our stay.
