★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I were in Torgiano for two (2) days and ate here twice as it is such a beautiful experience.
The owners, Mauricio and Asunti (she is the chef) are wonderful people - so welcoming and lovely. And can Asunti cook!
We were served by the very capable and professional Daniele. He spoke perfect English (along with about 4 other languages)and he is just charming.
The food is beyond fantastic. The first time, we had their lentil soup, polenta with tomato sauce and sausage and veal limone. The tastes are out of this world and so good it is hard to imagine.
Their wine list represents the area and is very reasonably priced, as is all their food.
Our second time in we started with their pasta fagoli soup (magnificent), insalata mista and their pizza. Note, pizza is only served in the evening, not for lunch!! Reason being is it is wood fired in their oven. Their pizza is fabulous - melts in your mouth with incredible flavor. The crust is perfetto!
After we left, we really felt like family and just fell in love with these people and this ristorante. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
