β β β β β Every time i visit Pavia, Peo is the first place to visit. The food is EXCELLENT and the Wellington is the best i've tried so far. The price is more than reasonable and it's for sure value for money.

β β β β β We went (2 people) to Peo restaurant today, 29/12/2019.
Everything looked nice and clean: an overall good location and a pleasant environment.
We ordered gnocchi and an βelephant earβ (a big steak) one bottle of water and one coffee.
The owner was friendly and polite and the food was quite good, letβs say reasonable for the price: 10β¬ for gnocchi and 18β¬ for the βelephant yearβ (this last one actually pretty expensive).
On the other, we had two issues: one quite minor and another one quite annoying.
The minor one: we order 1 gnocchi and 1 steak, the waiter also asked for the confirmation (β1 and 1, right?β) and, somehow, in the kitchen understood 2 gnocchi and 2 steaks. It may not seems a big deal, but actually this means that they delivered first the 2 gnocchi, 1 of which was not ordered and therefore we rejected it, and so the steak was not ready. This means first I had to eat the gnocchi alone, and then the other person eat alone the steak, once it was finally prepared. Misunderstandings can happen, but still...
The annoying one: the steak had some part that was not well cooked. This was quite serious for a restaurant and in case even possibly dangerous for those who are eating. You can see the picture here attached.
Actually I think the waiter noted that we were not served that well, so he made a 2β¬ discount on the total amount (i.e., 35β¬ instead of 37β¬).
It may very well be that we just were quite unlucky, but still our lunch was not that enjoyable.
