The only place in Prato is worth going. Good food. The owner is a very special person. A bit problematic at the beginning, but give her few smiles and she will be adorable. Strongly recommended

I honestly think this restaurant is a gem. Quiet, cozy, with friendly service and excellent food, it's not very "touristy" but definitely worth visiting. I had seafood risotto and absolutely amazing steak with porcini mushrooms. The waiter suggested pistachio cake for desert which we enjoyed immensely. Finally, we were offered complimentary shots of limoncello.

My experience may have been affected by arriving pretty late at night β€” nearly 11 β€” but altogether it was pretty disappointing. After a delayed flight and taxi trouble I was starving and happy to find a restaurant still serving. They only had pizza, which was fine by me. It arrived quickly (hooray!)... the dough was good and crispy. But it had hardly any seasoning on it, the tomato sauce was surprisingly bland, and the grilled vegetables were pretty plain too. Maybe it’s better earlier on in the evening, and I’m still thankful for the food as I was so hungry, but I wouldn’t return.

Perfect quiet dinner, because we had to go looking for the waitstaff all the time. Reluctance to serve 2 Asian girls was evident from when we first stepped in, the waitstaff didn't acknowledge us until we kept talking to one despite the near empty place (we were there early to avoid the crowd), and then she turned to the owner to seat us. Not sure if it was because we're Asian or English speaking but the local Italians got much more attentive service and conversation. I won't hold it against them, but considering the proximity to Monash and the annual Australian groups, it's not a great dining option despite all the other reviews. Also, the food was hella salty and oily, and the pasta was undercooked: some bits were still hard. This review reflects a mere fraction of the salt that was in our pasta. We ordered a crab pasta; the crab was for decoration with no meat to them. The other, a simple mushroom pasta dish, was dripping oil. The presentation was sloppy and off-centred, which wouldn't have been so bad if the table beside us wasn't served the same dish beautifully curled in the middle of the plate as we left at the start of the dinner rush. Strongly suggest that tourists do not come here without a local guide to kick them into shape.

This restaurant has the best cuisine in the whole city. You definitely need to visit. Cozy and pleasant, with good service and incredibly delicious food. Desserts are also not omitted. Recommend!

We liked β€œMenu degustazione” very much. Everything was tasty, subtle, nice and not to much! Exactly what our stomachs accepted. Deserts were very delicious.
