★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As giant (critical) fans of italian food we were surprisingly blown away by the dishes of LaPieve! We had la Parmigiana alle Melanzane in filo pastry (what an invention!!!), Spaghetti Carbonara and Pici Pomodori/Melanzane. On top the service was perfect! Thanks for that great experience?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasta dishes are delicious, but the ‘secondi’ aren’t worth ordering. Ours arrived stone cold in the middle, suggesting they’d been reheated rather than freshly cooked. The chef’s response was disappointingly defensive rather than apologetic. Feeling that not fully reheated meat wasn’t the safest bet, we all ate pasta instead, which proved to be a much better choice. The wine was also great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very special restaurant, located next to the church where it borrows the name from. The interior is unique, with high ceiling and fresco's on the walls. The atmosphere is therefore unique, quite and cosy, perfect for a romantic or family dinner. The dishes are really well presented, but must be honest, some of them push the traditional recipes too much and the taste is not what you would expect. That said, the quality is really high, and therefore the price is also adjusted accordingly. Anyway not crazy expensive and definitely worth! Oh, great selection of wines
