As more and more people arrived, the staff kept bringing tables into the street, filling every possible space, leaving just enough room to let the occasional passing car get by! Lovely friendly place for great honest homemade Tuscan fare. Great to see them getting back on their feet after such a difficult period. Definitely recommend!

We ate at this wonderful restaurant Antica Osteria l’Agania two nights it was just that good. Typical dishes from this region that are made to perfection. The chef must be expertly trained. We ate the pici pasta with tartufo, the pici pasta with cinghiali, tartufo, and porcini, cinghiali alla brace, and the minestrone soup. Incredibly tasty dishes. We figured out how they make their minestrone soup and will cook at our home. Lapo and Michaele were our awesome waiters and we had much fun and a great memorable experience. We will certainly return again and again. Thanks for a unique dining experience.

Despite good notes and recommendations we were disappointed with poor service (being seated in the almost empty room served not by a friendly Italian guy from the main entrance, but a waiter who was correcting guest's grammar I found a bit odd and rather rude, dishes for 4 people being served in 3 turns, not suggesting any pasta/bread for the meatballs, not proposing any dessert or coffee). Food was nice, but kids were not very pleased and felt like second category guests seeing Italians eating in a crowdy and friendly noisy room or outside. Therefore just 3 stars with a recommendation for a customer service rules reminder for the staff taking care of the secondary venue/room. Price performance in my opinion not worth such service experience, although bruschette, pasta, tuna salad and rabbit were fresh and quite nice

If I could add another star I would. Amazing experience. This place is off the beaten path but was a great find a block and a half from Piazza Grande and half a block from a main shopping street. Atmosphere was really old school traditional Tuscan Italian and the food was better. Get the Osso buco

We arrived exactly on time when the restaurant reopened for dinner. We took the seat inside the restaurant and got the menu from the staff directly (and after that there was such a long queue in front of the restaurant). As there were not many guests when we arrived, it didn't take long time till our orders came. We really enjoyed the food here. All staff were friendly, food with very fair price and most importantly, all the menus we had were just great!

Small restaurant serving standard Tuscany cuisine. Food were delicious, no frills. The staff were friendly and patient with us as we don’t speak much Italian. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday afternoon, reservations recommended.
