β β β β β Dal re delle materie prime. Piatti apparentemente semplici che nascondono una maestria nell'uso degli ingredienti. Al top (udite udite!) i paccheri pomodoro e basilico, semplicemente straordinari. Tutto il resto ad altissimo livello, compresi i (pochi) dolci. Se passate per Arezzo da provare.
From the king of raw materials. Apparently simple dishes that hide a mastery in the use of ingredients. At the top (hear hear!) The tomato and basil paccheri, simply extraordinary. Everything else at a very high level, including the (few) desserts. If you go to Arezzo to try.

β β β β β Aliciati succeeds in creating mouthwatering dishes relying on two skills: great cooking abilities and top-notch ingredients. In a town where the only two choices seem to be traditional food or often not well executed new βtwistsβ, it was refreshing to have the best pasta and anchovies I ever had. The trick? The best pasta on the market, the most amazing butter, the freshest anchovies, combined with perfect cooking times and a natural talent in blending the flavours. Pure bliss.
The ambient is outstanding, an elegant jump back to the thirties and forties, and every single detail is spot on.
Giovanni, the daring young chef who opened the restaurant just 8 months ago, masters some pretty good deserts as well: honest, with a home-made feeling that will make you think of grandma.
An experience to repeat more than once, as the chef likes to change the menu according to the season and whatβs on the market.

β β β β β The food menu was one page with about 12 items. We tried the pasta stuffed with pumpkin and the cod. With chickpeas. Both were outstanding. I would rank them as one of the top quality dishes we had in Italy and we had eaten at least a hundred meals. There was a separate dessert menu with a small number of cakes and a good selection of liquors.
