Siamo stati alla terrazza dei Barbanti il 10 settembre, quando siamo arrivati su mancava la nostra prenotazione per un tavolo per due persone, molto gentilmente il cameriere ci ha subito sistemati. Abbiamo scelto due menu degustazione, purtroppo in uno mancava il primo e nell altro mancava il secondo. Alla fine abbiamo optato per lo stesso menu degustazione per non complicare troppo le cose in cucina visto che il cameriere ci aveva fatto capire che alcune modifiche non potevano essere fatte. Abbiamo accettato di buon grado la proposta del primo da parte del cameriere: "Chicchette con astice e tarallo" La pasta era dura, l'astice inesistente, sapeva solo di tarallo, olio, aglio e prezzemolo. Il polipo dell' antipasto era gommoso e freddo, ho avuto l'impressione di una totale disorganizzazione e di prodotti davvero scadenti e non preparati al momento. Il cameriere molto gentilmente vedendo i piatti dei primi tornare indietro quasi pieni, a fine cena ci ha offerto due dolci. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il gesto, ma anche i dolci erano molto deludenti, abbiamo mangiato con gusto solo il calamaro fritto Mi dispiace molto perchè la location è veramente bella I am very sorry to have to write a bad review for this wonderful location within walking distance of my home. We were at the Terrazza dei Barbanti on 10 September, when we arrived on our reservation for a table for two people was missing, very kindly the waiter immediately settled us. We chose two tasting menus, unfortunately in one the first was missing and the second was missing in the other. In the end we opted for the same tasting menu so as not to complicate things too much in the kitchen as the waiter had made it clear that some changes could not be made. We gladly accepted the waiter's proposal for the first one: "Chicchette with lobster and tarallo" The pasta was hard, the lobster non-existent, it tasted only of tarallo, oil, garlic and parsley. The octopus of the appetizer was chewy and cold, I had the impression of a total disorganization and of really poor and not freshly prepared products. The waiter very kindly seeing the first plates come back almost full, at the end of the dinner he offered us two desserts. We really appreciated the gesture, but the desserts were also very disappointing, we ate only the fried squid with relish I am very sorry because the location is really beautiful

Essendo un po’ fuori dal centro non era affollata e si stava benissimo. I prezzi erano normalissimi, nessun eccesso. Personale gentile e cordiale. Essendo in cima ad un hotel 4 stelle rimane un ambiente abbastanza formale. Era presente un pianista che suonava live della musica lounge. We had an aperitif in the bar part and the view from the terrace was really beautiful. Being a bit out of the center, it wasn't crowded and it was great. Prices were normal, no excess. Polite and friendly staff. Being on top of a 4 star hotel it remains a fairly formal setting. There was a pianist who played lounge music live.
