★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stato ieri sera all’Aragosta, ma la mia esperienza non è durata che pochi minuti. Il tempo di ricevere l’acqua a tavola e poi ci si è avvicinato il caposala che, contrariamente alla norma, portava la mascherina abbassata sul mento. Quando gli ho chiesto, ironicamente, come mai non rispettasse la regola mi ha risposto che la mascherina la indossava (!!!), poi mi ha detto che avrei dovuto indossarla io per primo (?), dopodiché mi ha annunciato che in ogni caso se non gradivo il posto potevo anche andare altrove. Mentre tutto ciò avveniva, si riprendeva i menu con fare aggressivo, anche dalle mani delle signore a tavola, dichiarando fieramente: “l’acqua la offre la casa”. In pratica sono stato CACCIATO dal ristorante, insieme agli altri commensali, per aver osato richiamare il rispetto delle regole anti covid. Un comportamento assolutamente gravissimo, al limite della denuncia.
I was last night at the Lobster, but my experience lasted only a few minutes. Time to receive water at the table and then the head nurse approached us who, contrary to the norm, wore the mask lowered over his chin. When I asked him, ironically, why he didn't respect the rule, he replied that he wore the mask (!!!), then he told me that I should wear it first (?), Then he announced that in any case if I didn't like the place I could also go elsewhere. While all this was happening, he took the menus aggressively, even from the hands of the ladies at the table, proudly declaring: "the house offers water". In practice I was EXPUNGED from the restaurant, along with the other diners, for daring to recall compliance with the anti-covid rules. An absolutely very serious behavior, bordering on denunciation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il ristorante è accogliente e la location molto stile "Ponza". Tempi di attesa sopra la media, ma non dipende dal ristorante stesso quanto da questo Agosto 2020 che ha visto l'isola immersa da turisti. Il personale abbastanza cordiale e "veloce" vista la mole di lavoro, cucina tipica che però non mi ha lasciato con l'acquolina in bocca. Il cameriere ci ha informati che la cottura della pasta veniva servita al dente, ma per i miei gusti era troppo. Prezzi alti ma nella media dell'isola, difficile aspettarsi un conto meno salato. Da ritornarci sicuramente
The restaurant is welcoming and the location is very "Ponza" style. Waiting times above average, but it does not depend on the restaurant itself as much as on this August 2020 which saw the island surrounded by tourists. The staff quite friendly and "fast" given the amount of work, typical cuisine which, however, did not leave me with a mouth watering. The waiter informed us that the cooking of the pasta was served al dente, but for my taste it was too much. High prices but average on the island, difficult to expect a less expensive bill. Definitely to return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little place overlooking the marina. We stopped here for drinks and light bites. The service is wonderful, and like I mentioned before, the sunset view over the marina is fantastic.
