For that matter, if you're in Tuscany at all, this is a beautiful part of the region. I had the most wonderful time here. Try the wonderful and truly Tuscan food at L'amante della bistecca. For true lovers of steak, the bistecca alla fiorentina is divine. They grow their own produce and wine, and the warm staff are truly proud of what they serve. A family owned restaurant, a beautiful atmosphere and with beautiful company you will not forget this. molto grazie x

I recommend taking the set, if you are going as a couple you can do one person with the starter course and the other with the pasta and then of course the .5 kg steak that follows. Its massive for two so make sure you come hungry. The taste is great, the pasta amazing the appetizers make sure you are ready for some authentic dishes that use ingredients that you need some getting use too, but they are good. The sets include water, cover and wine! yes wine! that means you can drink till you drop, its not the greatest but definitely passable. I paid 59 euro with dessert for two, that includes the appetizers, pasta and big steak with dessert! Very reasonable for the quality you get. The staff cannot speak English but they are incredibly patient and helpful. They have an English menu. I will surely come back - definitely one of the best deals for quality steak i had in Italy! trust me that is saying a lot as i ate at 4 steak houses in 10 days!
