 Excellent home cooking with excellent local products. A nice nice place to eat after the climb from the mule track. Dynamic and welcoming owner. Better to book.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima cucina inaspettata, bella passeggiata per arrivare al ristorante, circa 1500 gradini (circa un'ora) per 600 mt di dislivello, oppure un bel giro panoramico partendo da Vasco, circa due ore e mezzo.
Matrie prime locali e cucina attenta, tutto fatto in casa. Obbligatorio prenotare
Excellent unexpected cuisine, nice walk to get to the restaurant, about 1500 steps (about an hour) for a difference in altitude of 600 meters, or a nice panoramic tour starting from Vasco, about two and a half hours.
Local first courses and careful cooking, all homemade. Reservation required

La cucina è uno splendido connubio tra tradizione valtellinese (gli sciatt sono imperdibili), prodotti del territorio e passione. Qualsiasi cosa scegliate del ricco menù sarà sicuramente buonissima. Per non parlare dei dolci ?
Don't expect the usual polenta and mountain lodge cheese. The cuisine is a splendid combination of Valtellinese tradition (the sciatt are not to be missed), local products and passion. Whatever you choose from the rich menu will surely be delicious. Not to mention the desserts ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proprietari gentilissimi e molto simpatici. Ci siamo tornati dopo esserci stati nel 2019 proprio per l'ottimo cibo e la piacevole accoglienza. I loro prodotti sono freschissimi, da provare le pappardelle ai mirtilli con funghi porcini, e il tiramisù di Barbara al baileys che è una bomba.
Tutta la fatica per arrivare viene ripagata alla grande! Consiglio a tutti...
Very kind and very nice owners. We returned after having been there in 2019 precisely for the excellent food and the pleasant welcome. Their products are very fresh, try the blueberry pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, and Barbara's tiramisu with baileys which is a bomb.
All the effort to get there is paid off big time! I recommend to everyone ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo localino con vista suggestiva a Monteviasco,cucina prelibata con piatti tipici della Valtellina,era tutto ottimo,vino buono,dolci buonissimi,bella atmosfera tipica di montagna,personale e titolari cortesi ed accoglienti.
Purtroppo attualmente è raggiungibile solo con una interminabile ora a piedi affrontando un sentiero di circa 1200 gradini,quindi consiglio vivamente abbigliamento sportivo e scarpe adatte,speriamo si ripristini presto la funivia per poterci tornare più comodamente.
Small place with a suggestive view in Monteviasco, delicious cuisine with typical dishes of the Valtellina, everything was excellent, good wine, delicious desserts, beautiful typical mountain atmosphere, courteous and welcoming staff and owners.
Unfortunately, it is currently only reachable with an interminable hour on foot facing a path of about 1200 steps, so I highly recommend sportswear and suitable shoes, we hope the cable car will be restored soon to be able to return more comfortably.

Nice place with home cooking based on local and Valtellina dishes. Pleasant and attentive to the customer, without being intrusive. Plentiful and well-prepared dishes with average prices. I went back after twenty years and it was a pleasant ... culinary surprise. See you next time
