★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalle recensioni parto da Milano per un pranzo domenicale al Paiolo in Vercelli,città fantasma quasi macabra. Locale vecchio ma pulito, piccolissimo al suo interno tanto che in 16 METRI CUBI d'aria eravamo 8/10 persone. Non potevi muoverti. Quindi per persone ingombranti-carrozzine-passeggini e quant'altro non ci stanno. Faccio capire di voler mangiare tipico...ma non ho accolto che il menù (arrangiati). Panissa piatto tipico, non cucinato in questo locale, riso con fagioli ed il bis non è altro che la tua porzione rimasta nella pentola di rame, se ricordata di servirtela. Vino sfuso in caraffa di origine sconosciuta ma presentata a voce come stappata da bottiglia...MHA. Chiedo un dolce tipico al volo impaziente di lasciare questo posto affollatissimo e privo di qualsiasi ricambio dell'aria!!! Mi dice che non ha tempo ?....prendo e ce ne andiamo senza manco il caffè. La ristorazione e la cucina fanno parte di un altra categoria che non vi appartiene. SCONSIGLIO!
 From the reviews I leave Milan for a Sunday lunch at the Paiolo in Vercelli, an almost macabre ghost town. Old but clean place, very small inside so much so that in 16 CUBIC METERS of air we were 8/10 people. You couldn't move. So for bulky people-prams-strollers and anything else they don't fit. I make it clear that I want to eat typical ... but I have accepted only the menu (arranged). Panissa typical dish, not cooked in this place, rice with beans and the encore is nothing more than your portion left in the copper pot, if you remember to serve it. Bulk wine in carafe of unknown origin but verbally presented as uncorked from a bottle ... MHA. I ask for a typical dessert on the fly impatient to leave this crowded place without any air exchange !!! He tells me he has no time ? .... I take and we leave without missing the coffee. Catering and cooking are part of another category that does not belong to you. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful trattoria of the past. panissa-the typical dish from Vercelli, also good, but not the original one, cmq ok, they also give an encore

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trattoria tipica Piemontese dove mangiare i piatti tipici della tradizione piemontese. Da non perdere panissa con il fondo e il bollito. Ho preso come antipasto il fritto misto ma non era proprio il top. Locale piuttosto affollato. Conviene prenotare.
Typical Piedmontese trattoria where to eat the typical dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Do not miss panissa with the bottom and the boiled meat. I had the mixed fry as an appetizer but it wasn't really the top. Rather crowded. It pays to book.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cucina tipica piemontese, mi è piaciuto molto quello che ho mangiato (antipasti caldi e tacchinella ripena alle castagne), prezzi giusti, locale accogliente anche se un po' piccolino. L'unico appunto, col covid, consiglierei di areare un po' il locale, aprendo ogni tanto la porta d'ingresso. Ci tornerei volentieri.
Typical Piedmontese cuisine, I really liked what I ate (hot appetizers and turkey stuffed with chestnuts), fair prices, welcoming place even if a bit small. The only complaint, with the covid, I would recommend airing the room a little, opening the front door from time to time. I would stay there again.
