Locale con circa una sessantina di coperti disposti su 3 livelli (18 + 12 + 30). Primi strepitosi, se andate in gruppo assaggiate il primo alle 18 erbe del Gran sasso (raccolte in zona e sulla montagna). Non dimenticate di farvi portare una doppia razione di polpette alla ricotta e melanzane e al Formaggio una droga. Arrosti prelibati e zuppe non vi faranno dimenticare la visita. Si arriva al locale percorrendo un piccolo vicolo dalla piazza del monumento dei caduti. potete parcheggiare li la macchina. Restaurant in the heart of the Gran Sasso. Spaghetti alla chitarra con pallotte, stroccoli con la salsiccia e tagliatelle ai porcini veramente deliziose. Antipasti genuini e del territorio. Tutto abbondante e a prezzi davvero contenuti. La carne alla brace (abbacchio) è stata fatta cuocere troppo risultando asciutta e bruciacchiata. Anche il primo (una pasta al ragù bianco aromatizzata con 18 erbe) non mi ha convinto. Particolare interessante nell'antipasto la piccola pesca acerba sbollentata nell'aceto e aromatizzata al tartufo e conservata in olio. Servizio cortese e rapido. Typical trattoria with home cooking. Moderate prices and cuisine that reflects the type of restaurant. The grilled meat (lamb) was overcooked resulting dry and scorched. Even the first (a pasta with white meat sauce flavored with 18 herbs) did not convince me. Particularly interesting in the appetizer is the small unripe peach blanched in vinegar and flavored with truffle and preserved in oil. Courteous and prompt service.

Attese lunghissime, piatti insipidi, agnello al coccio annacquato. Scelta di dolci quasi zero. Conto troppo alto per un locale in cui non si arriva di passaggio ma si deve cercare sul cucuzzolo della montagna. The appetizer of cured meats, cheeses and croquettes is perhaps the only tasty cis we ate. Long waits, bland dishes, watered crock-baked lamb. Almost zero choice of sweets. The count is too high for a place where you do not arrive in passing but you have to look for the top of the mountain.
