★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What famous person has not eating here?!? This place is fantastic! The wait staff is attentive. Goes out of there way to ensure your experience is nothing but top notch. Please order the T-Bone or the rabbit. You won't regret it!

Poor food quality: ordered pasta and pizza and the cheese was the worst I tried in Italy. Couldn't finish it.
Poor service: the waiter and the manager were very rude, acting as though they are doing us a favor. The waiter once left while I was ordering and went to wait on another table.
Worst: they charged us 2€ per person for service, additional to the food cost (there were 4 of us, no big party). There was nothing on the menu explaining and when we asked about it, we got the same rude attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with a beautiful inside dining area! We really enjoyed the wine. The restaurant is traditional with food sourced locally! REALLY enjoyed the pasta aglione! The T-bone steak is amazing but huge so bring your appetite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Location was set just a few blocks off the main area, making it quiet yet accessible. The tiramisu was amazing, very creamy and light on a hot summer day.
Would recommend a visit to anyone touring Siena.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars with an asterisk. This was the best meal we had in Siena. A chickpea pancake with cod, tomatoes and homemade mayonnaise — fantastico. A cacio e pepe pasta — really good. A cod tempura main course — a bit salty but delicious. The parfait dessert - completed the meal perfectly as did a white wine from San Gimignano that we enjoyed with our meal. So why the asterisk? We chose da Guido because of a pasta with shrimp dish we saw on their online menu. Not there IRL. The waiter explained that they had dropped that dish 3 days earlier but hadn’t updated the menu online. The cacio e pepe was the result of a negotiation to get a meat-free pasta dish that wasn’t on the menu. A bit of an aggravation that clouded the meal until the food arrived. So a plea to da Guido and every other restaurant — post your menu online and keep it up to date. Not having dishes you advertise can only lead to disappointment and negative reviews.
