Ho trovato un raro centro di eccellenza nella ristorazione, capace di soddisfare il cliente in tutti gli aspetti: qualità, presentazione, atmosfera e cordialità.
La faraona, servita su un tessuto di purea di patate, mi ha davvero colpito ed è stata l’emblema dell’accurata selezione delle materie prime e del riguardo nella preparazione dei piatti.
Prezzi generosi ma giustificati da quanto appena detto.

I found a rare center of excellence in catering, capable of satisfying the customer in all aspects: quality, presentation, atmosphere and friendliness.
The guinea fowl, served on a mashed potato fabric, really impressed me and was the emblem of the careful selection of raw materials and the respect in the preparation of the dishes.
Generous prices but justified by what has just been said.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this place via a Google search. Fabulous food and the best steak that I had ever. I was there a great sho on my trip and I can't look back in awe that I had dinner in a castle. I recommend this to anybody and everybody that wants a nice sit down dinner on top of a hill.

We visited four times during a three week stay near Perugia, and apart from the last visit where every single chain smoker in the vicinity appeared to have descended on the place for lunch, we had wonderful lunches, drinking in the view (not to mention the Aperol spritz), enjoying the eclectic locally sourced menu (including child-friendly pasta pomodoro) and excellent service. Go. You won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly strange as per other reviews as separated from the hotel slightly although nice views (over stone walls). Food was good but terrace is lacking in any ambiance/interior design/layout unfortunately. Would have been 5 star if this was better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming here for 7 years. I love the walk from Centro Storico to Castello Di Monterone. Once at the castle it’s exquisitely peaceful with amazing gardens and views towards Perugia. The restaurant has a wonderful terrace and a great contemporary interior. The current chef, Domenico, has done great things with the cuisine. I love the food the atmosphere and the excellent staff. The hotel and restaurant staff are truly great. The food is not always consistent but I continue to enjoy the menu, the friendliness and the venue. A true Perugia treasure.
