★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful lunch. Affordable- but not cheap. The food was delicious. Limited vegetarian choices. The view was AMAZING! Fold away glass fires allowed for al fresco lunch- with out being in the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow just fantastic, best restaurant I've been to in Perugia to date, service was super friendly and helpful, got all of our order spot on -food cooked to perfection! Great portion to cost ratio (some first dishes are bigger than others so do ask which are good for sharing!) And an extensive wine list, do ask if unsure about pairings or go for local wines -superb!
The view is just stunning, we had a 7.30pm reservation so watched the sunset and (near) full moon rise as the streetlights in the distance flickered on and across the horizon -you can see Assisi in the distance and it's really quite something breathtaking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing drive to the beautiful city of Perugia. For lunch I found Ristorante del Sol with an absolutely breathtaking view. The landscape here is truly amazing.
As it is Sunday today, I haven’t put my nicest shirt. This was a mistake. When I entered the restaurant and asked for a table with a view, I have been told that all tables are reserved. This was a lie. I asked three times to give me a table with the view and the waiter repeated: all reserved. I am sitting here now for two hours: nobody came to sit at the table I asked for.
In the meantime I got my food: while the starter was too hot - it felt like heated - the main course was too cold and I found two hairs in my dish. In addition they forgot to bring me the side dish.
Well, I ordered my desert: tiramisu. It was ok, but I had much better tiramisu in Italy in the last few weeks.
In total my lunch was very disappointing! The only meal in six weeks in Italy that disappointed me. Maybe a coincidence, but the bill was also wrong.
Maybe the waiter had a bad day, and the kitchen had also a bad day. The table that were reserved remained empty for my entire stay. I don’t like when a waiter lies to me, just because I am not dressed to impress on a weekend.
Never ever I will return, I take this as a personal insult. Bad, bad, bad!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food itself was very tasteful (not considering the fact that they did not have a vegan option) but we were waiting for second course for an HOUR AND HALF. I must admit that the restaurant was busy and waiters were running around but people around us, who came later, got their second courses, desserts and even coffee before us... Very unsatisfied

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this place for an important anniversary of our love story… ❤️ We had a delicious dinner. The restaurant welcomed us with some little salty croissants, and then we continued with starters, first and second dishes all based on fish. The thing that we liked in particular was the fresh pasta with prawns and artichokes. We accompanied everything with an excellent fresh white wine and…to finish…the usual tiramisù. ?? A nice location that can certainly be considered for special occasions. ?❤️?
