β β β β β Once we mastered the escalator system we were free to explore local neighborhoods. Luckily artichokes were still in season and with the truffles, we were in heaven. This is the special touch you get in local, family restaurants and should be the reason for travel. The roast pork with polenta was fabulous and with a side of artichokes. Add in a glass of local white wine and the evening was set. Everything is italian, but Google Translate will get you enough words to navigate the menu and staff. You will not be sorry - very far from it.

β β β β β Great service, and quaint restaurant. The owner was very careful given the fact that I have allergies. The food was not great and, frankly, did not have much taste. That being said, the meat with plums was the best thing we tasted that evening.

β β β β β At first we were really happy with the place. We liked the food and the atmosphere. We ordered a local speciality "pasta Bottega" which for our taste was to salty. We politely ate the plate except the "Bottega". Then we noticed the owner was rudely talking about us to other customers for more then an hour. We were really surprised with the hostile attitude. Please stay professional in your job like we all do.

β β β β β We went there for dinner after reading online reviews & being recommended by our AirBNB host. The service was poor, no English menus & the food was wasnβt far behind. I ordered what I thought was a patee, but was some sort of fondue with mushrooms & porchino cheese. The ravioli had very little sauce - I could have made & cooked a better dish than this. We had to ask for everything even though they were not busy. It was almost as if they really didnβt care at all about tourist & solely catered to the locals. Donβt go here if you want any service or decent food.
