We were a bit disconcerted by the rule of 3 courses or nothing, but decided it was worth it and we could skip dinner. It did not disappoint. The food and wine were excellent. Two of the waiters had excellent English and advised us well. The most impressive dishes were the beef and duck carpaccio. I have never had such delicious carpaccio before. The pork cheek was unusual. We could not work out what we were eating but it tasted good.Warning for those on diets: the food is quite rich with lots of delicious olive oil but you can always skip dinner ...

A	Alex Postma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants I've eaten in abruzzo. We followed a locals recommendation. They only serve lunch, but with a card of high quality and many local dishes. Quick and good service. Really worth a detour. Excellent value for money.

Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants judged to be of a particularly high standard..." while the food at this restaurant is very good, we have to express our discontent with the service. My husband ordered a bottle of wine during our meal. The bottle was brought opened to the table, we tried the wine and the smell was off. We requested another bottle and made a respectful observation to the waitress who laughed when we indicated that the wine was not good. Also, another individual of the restaurant indicated that the reason as why the wine was not opened at the table was for ("non sporcare il tavolo"), not to get the table dirty???. In summary, not worth the price (more than 55 Eur per person) if you are looking for a real Michelin quality restaurant.

e	ernst wit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is tucked in the corner of the square right next to the church that used to be a Roman temple. A nice setting for this excellent restaurant. The two owners are doing the waiting and they are knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. We are here for lunch as this period they do not open for dinner. My daughters had a pasta dish each, which each had a nice twist. I had taken the sacchettino di vitello (packet of veal, ie veal inside bacon). It was cooked inside a lovely mushroom sauce. Truly exceptional. My wife have thinly sliced carpaccio of baccalà, which was elegant. She had a vegetable side dish with a variety of vegetables, which were cooked innovatively. Altogether highly recommended. Together with wine and 2 desserts we paid 95 euro for 4 people.
