The first courses were quite tasty and sizable however the main courses were very small and lacked sauces and any sides e.g. salad, vegetables or fries. The mixed meat grill was over cooked and very expensive for the size of the dish. The service also left a lot to be desired. Our last meal in Rome left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons!

The host/owner happily accommodated two special requests which were delicious. Service was gracious and kind. Will highly recommend to family and friends. - The Sax Family & Senora Marinara

My husband ordered a coffe and I said we wanted to share the margarita pizza. The waitress responded in a flat and annoyed tone that we could not share it. I should have asked why, or better yet taken that as a sign to get up and leave. But instead my husband said he wanted a mixed salad. She grabbed the menus back, abruptly urned around, and I could see the look of irritation on her face. Completely unacceptable behavior. Yet after that, every time she came to the table she managed a fake smile. As for the pizza, it was the worst one I’d had in Italy. The dough tasted sour like it had rose for way too long, it was greasy, there was a single piece of blackened basil in the middle, and the cheese also tasted sour. I could’ve overlooked the bad pizza if the waitress hasn’t been so rude. I have some basic Italian language skills and was using them initially- as I’ve found most Italians appreciate the effort. She didn’t care and just seemed annoyed. Maybe she was having a bad day but we were undemanding, quiet and polite patrons.
d	dale fox on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our party of 8 enjoyed a wonderful dinner here the night before flying home. Our server was attentive and the owner was very welcoming and appreciative of our business. Excellent food and wine. The entire time we were there was relaxed and thoroughly memorable.

My husband ordered a fish and it was white, but small, served deboned, with a separate side order. I had linguini a la Bolognese which was to meaty compared to others I've haha in Italy. Bread was served warm which is rare in Italy. But then you are in Rome. I think they're associated with the hotel next door. Staff speaks English and Spanish. The atmosphere is Anywhere, USA.... Not your antique looking architecture. The furnishings are somewhat formal with white tablecloths. A bit of a homey ambiance. Family owned and operated.

There are two problems: 1) A waitress had wrongly served me red wine... and what was worse, she asked other customers to take it by saying “He doesn’t want to drink red wine...”??‍♂️ It was obviously NOT my fault!?? The other problem was a number of mosquitoes...
