Good food, not traditional, bad service. We had heard a lot of things about traditional fish restaurants in Anzio. Our mistake that we didnt check the food of this restaurant. To begin with, the waiter recomended our choice which was the 13 different apetizers. Then he said that we should have one main course to share. It was a good recomendation and enough food. Maybe we should skip the Main course. I do not understand why they call it apetizers because it is a lot of food and costs 18e per person. We also ordered a bittle of Prosecco that was in the menu but instead we got a sparkling wine and NOT a Prosecco. It was also not the one in the menu. About the service that i complained, the apetizers where coming so fast and the waiter was just puting them anywhere on the table, so stressed, without even telling us what we got. On each different plate we had to ask "What is this?". This is something that you have to work on. The food was good but not something to be amazed. We really lost our good feeling by the speed that the courses were coming and not place to place them. (Look the picture). Nobody asked us through the whole dinner if the food was ok. They just left the food and if they remember they took the empty the plates. I was watching arround and even to our next table the attention to the guests was better they were even puting them wine but not to us. Propably because we were not Italian. I got this feeling in 90% of restaurants in Italy. Too sad... Payment time. Had to wait 15 minutes when finaly the waiter comes, picks our card and leaves. After 5 minutes somebody comes, he looked like he had a small complain, "It needs a password, come to put it". Yeah, we know but you just got the card and left without saying anything. You should work on service routines guys. We are giving you our money to have a good time without stress. Not just to eat and go... 3 stars only because of the food...

I am not a keen fish eater. This restaurant was a recommendation from Paola and Nando, Vini e Cucina restaurant, Velletri, and we found the Capo D’Anzio to be simply fantastic: the appetisers are simply Devine, a sheer delight for my tastebuds. Staff and owners are very polite and service is lovely. Thank you Paola and Nando for introducing me to these dishes ! Thank you!

The starter was good, but the main course was disappointing, i had the squid with vegetables and it was bland and overcooked, and my boyfriend had the bream, it was beyond bland and it had bones and scales. Wouldn't come again.

This is a very very nice place. I am amazed. The food is delicious!! I absolutely recommend their antipasti. Staff is very professional and can provide you with details about all food which they serve, as well as wine tastes. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

Food was nice. I really suggest trying their selection of appetizers that have a vast variety of seafood prepared in many different ways. Too bad that we waited a long time for our first and main meal to arrive after the appetizers.

absolutely stunning.!!!! amazing food, amazing service, Francesco the Owner is extremely polite and kind. very good quality wines and open for recommendations for any dish. buzzing place, its by the port. so you can enjoy a lovely walk before of after it. definetly a place to be and try.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This restaurant has an embellished interior, but is a fraud in the port of Anzio. I give 1 star for the following reasons: 1) Poor (non-existent) service. Waiters are rude, inattentive, slow and forgetful. 2) Ridiculous portions. €15 for 4 ravioli on a big plate (see picture). Is that reasonable to you? 3) Ignorant to any covid rules whatsoever - face mask covering mouth and not nose (either put it on or off?), 25 people squeezed together in a small room. 4) Bad organisation from the kitchen. We were 6 people, and 5 received our plates at the same time. The last one received it 10 minutes later, once the rest of us were done. 5) 3 out of 6 in our group felt sick with nausea, diarrhea and stomach pain after the food. I strongly advise you to find a better place to eat. This place is not worth it.

Favourite restaurant in Anzio! Always going there when I travel to Italy in the Latina region. The pictures speak for themselves - amazing, tasty, cleverly combined ingredients !
