★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a focus on setting and presentation over taste and preparation of the food. Our Primi was just covered in butter, overwhelming any taste of the fish.
The only glass of wine available by the glass is prosecco, all other wine is to be bought by the bottle.
High price here for food that was just not that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a bad experience here. First of all, the service was terrible:
- We came 20 mins before our reservation (and before the restaurant opens), but instead of being offered to sit down on our table anyway, we had to wait outside while the staff were having their dinner on one of the tables in the restaurant (it’s an open restaurant so we can see them and they can see us, so imagine how awkward that is). I know this is probably asking a lot, but I didnt expect anything less from a restaurant that made it to Michelin star list.
- We didn’t speak Italian (and the staff knew) but noone bothered to explain what the menu, which was fully written in Italian, entailed.
- When leaving the restaurant, we said thank you and bye to one of the staff who didn’t reply but instead stared at us with an angry look.
The food was also underwhelming, i.e portion was way too big for 4-course menu (we had to skip dessert as we couldn’t handle that much bad food, and note that we came very hungry), fish were overcooked and underseasoned, there was not much variation at all to the 4-course menu just a bunch of fried fish.
If you are planning to come here, I’d say save your money, time, and appetite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious authentic dishes and reasonable prices. Beautiful surroundings overlooking the lake and attentive service. The only downside was no vegan options. Nothing on the menu and not even one pasta, risotto or pizza that could be made without animal products upon request ☹️ Quite disappointing in this day and age… other than that, a wonderful place to stop by!
