★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near the lake and boats from Como, located in perhaps almost medieval building. Seems to be very popular with locals ( Sunday lunch I took last available table). Quick service and tasty food. I was happy with my choice. I would give 4,5 points, not really 5. But 4 seems too low ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe that the rating it currently has is really misleading to anyone looking to have a nice meal.
Well first of all let’s take into account that we were there off season, on a Sunday in December, but still it was strange to be the only customers throughout the night.
We were serviced by two ladies and the service was slow but polite, so - okay.
The atmosphere is kind of cozy, but everything there feels really old. The decor, interior, menu, music, everything.
But actually the worst part of our experience was the food. Not only it does not remind an Italian pizza, we are convinced it was a frozen pizza because of the stiffness of the base. My friend got a different pizza than she ordered and considering we were the only customers there it seems pretty unbelievable. But if you look around, you can understand. The name ‘la vecchia’ which means ‘old’ speaks for itself. Will cook my own frozen pizza next time.

My sister had the pizza with spicy salami which was very good.
My Dad and I tried a special dish called “pizzoccherie”. It was way better than expected! Kind of noodles with a creamy white sauce with savoy. I really recommend trying it!
The bread and olive oil before the meal was nothing special. Sooo 4 Stars! ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It worths. If you want to have lunch in the tourist area and by the lake, where the quality of the restaurants inevitably drops, this restaurant is against the tide. You can find good quality of food, kindness and tradition. My favorite in this tourist square.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a wonderful restaurant! The food here is as spectacular as the views, I highly recommend the porcini mushroom tagliatelle or the seafood pasta. Every dish we've tried here has been fresh and delicious. The homemade tirimisu is the best we've ever tried. Marie Rose and her team are friendly and helpful and always with a smile. We'll be recommending to anyone visiting Colico.
