★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant of L'Ontano is pretty good. We went here 2 times during our visit to lake Como. We really liked the pasta dishes here especially the homemade paccheri.
I wouldn't recommend the desserts. We took both the chocolate pie and apple pie which were subpar and doused in strawberry syrup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, original menu, friendly and efficient service. But no vegetarian or vegan offers ☹. The only possibility is pastas from which "speck" had been removed, which means that there are no proteins in this meal.
Veggie people are still considered as strange, annoying if not mad, certainly not worth veggie offers, when they are the most ethical, respectful and considerate people, using their fork for a sustainable and better world. It is a pity when restaurants, which should understand everything about food, show that they don't...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place offers nice view and accessibility to the lake for water sports. It provides bar and restaurant service, the quality is average. The position and the steep green lawn that leads into the lake are very beautiful. If you go to Colico, beyond the walk in the small town and along the lake, come here to have a beer on the lawn.
