Un'amica ha organizzato un piacevole ritrovo con amici di Milano scegliendo La Maddalena per il pranzo e devo dire di aver mangiato molto bene. Il menΓΉ, dettato a memoria dal titolare (quindi non si conoscono i prezzi dei piatti ahimΓ©), era ricco di prelibatezze reggiane e di qualche chicca tra cui l'insalata tiepida di coniglio, che ho scelto come antipasto e la tagliata ai porcini, entrambi ottimi; con un'altra commensale ho diviso inoltre una porzione di porcini fritti, anch'essi deliziosi. Non ho preso il dessert ma ho assaggiato il limoncino fatto da loro, buono quasi come quello della mia mamma! Sul tavolo al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un assaggio di erbazzone (buono) e ciccioli nostrani. Conto finale in linea con altri locali della zona.
A friend organized a pleasant meeting with friends from Milan choosing La Maddalena for lunch and I must say I ate very well. The menu, dictated by heart by the owner (so the prices of the dishes are not known alas), was full of Reggio Emilia delicacies and some gems including the warm rabbit salad, which I chose as an appetizer and the tagliata ai porcini, both excellent; with another diner I also shared a portion of fried porcini, also delicious. I didn't have dessert but I tasted the limoncino made by them, almost as good as my mom's! On the table upon our arrival we found a taste of erbazzone (good) and local greaves. Final bill in line with other places in the area.

Esperienza decisamente negativa. Gnocco fritto che sembra impasto da ciambella, spalla cotta con odore di salame e dura, quello che dovevano essere tagliatelle ai funghi sembravano strozzapreti scotti, cappellacci e tortelli da no comment. Spero solo fosse una serata storta.
Definitely bad experience. Fried dumpling that looks like donut dough, cooked shoulder with the smell of salami and hard, what must have been tagliatelle with mushrooms looked like overcooked strozzapreti, cappellacci and tortelli from no comment. I just hope it was a bad night.

Been twice at the restaurant... Simply the best italian home-made recipies. Really worth it. (I've never stayed at the hothel though but seems pretty nice)
