The food is on the lower end of the price scale for a restaurant but I was very impressed by the freshness, flavour, and simplicity of the sausage with polenta! Also, the serving was a larger size than most places. I'm very picky with sausage but would come back here again and again! Definitely stop here if you're by Lake Fusine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been there for a stop with my wife and 7 months old son for a stop to let him eat. Personnel was very kind to us, prices at the bar were reasonable and the position on the lake was simply awesome. A very good place to spend some free time for calm Sundays and your family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the way back from the lake we stepped by this place to drink a beer and chat a little bit. For a small break after or during hiking it's perfect. It's cozy and warm inside like in most mountain huts. We were not sleeping there or eating anything but I saw people eating dinner there and the dishes were looking good. The staff was super kind and the waitress can speak English. The hut is located next to the first lake so you can enjoy beautiful view through the windows. There was also a small tarrace but we visited this place in winter so we were enjoying the view from inside. There is a parking spot right in front of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If a customer choses to eat outside on a balcony, under the roof where you have tables you take the order instead of saying it's raining and we do not do service there. Not the way to earn good review nor money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place on the Alpe Adria trail. The rooms with private bathroom are quite cozy, the views on the lake and mountains are stunning and the staff (who speak English fluently) is very friendly and helpfull. Highly recommended.
