★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service of poor quality, food average. Over priced for what is offered here. Really commercial and nothing wow to offer as a tourist the food quantity average too. Nice location in tourist spot but didn't feel the welcome vibe such places should offer. Waiters were cold rather in hurry for you to finish n run off as they were bringing the bill even before one finished the meal. Not satisfied n will not recommend to fellow food lovers can guess find better joints. Our experience was below expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing local restaurant!! My girlfriend and I went there and were both pleasantly surprised with their service, let alone the food. The starters were fresh and tasty! The main courses were delicious!! We will be back for the next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the start we felt like the most special guests in this establishment. We got the best table, a round table at the end (outside).
We had some starters and some pasta, nothing special. The atmosphere and the service were so good that we felt like this was one of the best nights during our stay.
I want to make more compliments, write more about how al dente the pasta was, how special the waiters made us feel during our dinner but please see for yourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our favorite restaurants in Venice! It is on a romantic small canal with very little foot traffic if you decide to dine outside. The food selections were great and the staff is outstanding. We have taken our kids and parents here in the past few weeks. I highly recommend Al Vagon!

The food was exceptional especially the spaghetti marinara (the sauce was wow).
Customer service was top notch.
We ordered one first course and one second course to share. It was very nice of them to split each plate in to two.
Overall, the experience we had in the restaurant was one of the best during our stay in Venice.
Definitely a place to try when in Venice.
