Prezzi sopra la media We went back on Sunday but everything has changed .. from the management to the culinary offer, different from other restaurants .... but evolving. Prices above average

Per ciò che riguarda l'aspetto culinario devo dire che l'antipasto è ottimo sia in quantità che in qualità soprattutto negli affettati. Il primo piatto consistente in tortelli di carne chianina è stato sicuramente la portata migliore; squisito nonostante la semplicità del condimento (burro e salvia). La grigliata mista discreta ma non all'altezza delle portate precedenti. Ottimi i contorni. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Essendomi stato offerto non posso dare un giudizio sul costo The location is gorgeous Surrounded by greenery, it is a very beautiful, welcoming and peaceful place. As for the culinary aspect, I must say that the appetizer is excellent both in quantity and in quality, especially in the cold cuts. The first course consisting of Chianina meat tortelli was certainly the best course; delicious despite the simplicity of the sauce (butter and sage). The mixed grill discreet but not up to the previous courses. Excellent side dishes. The staff are friendly and polite. Having been offered I cannot judge the cost

Una sorpresa assoluta! In primis per la gentilezza delle cameriere (davvero il personale era super disponibile e cortese!!) Il posto é tranquillo e confortevole...mangiare sotto le stelle ha sempre il suo fascino... Anche il cibo era assolutamente ottimo, dalle focacce al dolce (una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco che mai avevo assaggiato così buona!) Le patate al forno sono consigliatissime ... buone per sapore, cottura e condimento. Il prezzo é giusto e non "carissimo" come avevo letto dalle altre recensioni perché in 3 abbiamo speso 35€ RECOMMENDED! I admit I had read a lot of negative reviews ... but having stayed at the Terra Umbra Hotel it was the closest place to have dinner. What to say? An absolute surprise! First of all for the kindness of the waitresses (really the staff was super helpful and courteous !!) The place is quiet and comfortable ... eating under the stars always has its charm ... The food was also absolutely excellent, from focaccia to dessert (a berry cheesecake that I have never tasted so good!) Baked potatoes are highly recommended ... good for flavor, cooking and seasoning. The price is fair and not "very expensive" as I had read from the other reviews because in 3 we spent € 35

The restaurant is a welcoming sprawling affair divided in rooms and patios of different sizes that can accommodate big parties or singles dining alone. On the menu are the staples of the local cuisine, a wide selection of pizza and the beers produced in the brewery nearby. On the whole "il canto del gallo" is a good place to go to dinner.
