Si tratta di tre vani: quello di destra, molto piccolo è un bagno alla turca, non utilizzabile; il vano centrale ha due stanze, la prima rettangolare con camino e finestra, la seconda quadrata con finestra, utilizzata come dormitorio, generalmente senza brande; il terzo vano di sinistra è la camera di produzione del formaggio con focolare a cappa e finestra.
Offre anche riparo agli escursionisti in caso di maltempo, non di più viste le condizioni.
Non è presente acqua sorgiva nelle vicinanze.
