Il menù offre prodotti locali, freschi e genuini da assaporare in un contesto naturalistico mozzafiato. A family-run refuge, managed with seriousness, cordiality and professionalism. The menu offers local, fresh and genuine products to be savored in a breathtaking naturalistic context.

A lovely place, the managers friendly and welcoming people. Typical Abruzzo cuisine. Relax and rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Due sole piccole cose (da non imputare al rifugio) non mi consentono di dare il massimo: La strada per raggiungerlo alcuanto sconnessa e a causa delle norme anticovid ci siamo dovuti portare gli effetti letterecci Beautiful well-kept and tidy place, excellent hospitality and cuisine not to mention the availability and courtesy of the manager. Only two small things (not to be attributed to the refuge) do not allow me to give my best: The road to reach it is somewhat bumpy and due to the ancient rules we had to bring the bed linen.

Meglio telefonare prima, specialmente fuori della bella stagione ( preferibile wa per problemi di connessione.) Welcoming and always helpful. Immediately below Mount Velino offering wonderful mountains trails. You can eat genuine products. It's better to give a phone call before to go and specially if it's not the good season (wa preferably) . Hospitable, always available. At the foot of Monte Velino which offers splendid mountain trails. Genuine products. Better to call earlier, especially outside the summer (wa preferable for connection problems.) Welcoming and always helpful. Immediately below Mount Velino offering wonderful mountains trails. You can eat genuine products. It's better to give a phone call before to go and specially if it's not the good season (wa preferably).

Servizio impeccabile e cordiale e materie prime della zona, da non perdere. All perfect!! After even a light excursion, a gastronomic break in the refuge is the plus of your day !! Impeccable and friendly service and raw materials from the area, not to be missed.

Brava anche la moglie, che con cose semplici soddisfa sempre il palato di tutti. Due persone sempre sorridenti e gentili, pronti ad accoglierti anche per un caffè ed una chiacchierata e due risate tra amici. Very welcoming, relaxing place, surrounded by nature. The manager is a person who makes you feel at home. His wife is also good, who always satisfies everyone's palate with simple things. Two people always smiling and kind, ready to welcome you even for a coffee and a chat and a laugh with friends.

Luogo immerso nella natura, facilmente raggiungibile anche in auto; la strada è sterrata e stretta per circa un chilometro ma se si parcheggia alla fine della strada asfaltata è comunque una piacevole passeggiata. Dal rifugio partono diversi sentieri e ve ne sono alcune facilissimi. Il menù è fisso ma con prodotti locali e tutti gustosi. Consiglio per chi ama il silenzio, la quiete ed io panorama ai piedi del Monte Velino. Ci tornerò di sicuro. A pleasant surprise. A place surrounded by nature, easily reachable even by car; the road is unpaved and narrow for about a kilometer but if you park at the end of the paved road it is still a pleasant walk. Several paths start from the refuge and there are some very easy ones. The menu is fixed but with local products and all tasty. Advice for those who love silence, stillness and I view at the foot of Monte Velino. I'll be back for sure.
