Assolutamente da non perdere! After the Giro dal Ragola or coming from lake bino or lake moo it is worth stopping at the refuge! Excellent cold cuts and very good wine! Absolutely not to be missed!

Menù fisso di 25€ il giorno di Ferragosto. Ah tavoli sotto al sole e 2 ombrelloni Menù l.antipasto sott oli nel piatto di carta immersi nel loro olio come.se.avessero svuotato il vasetto nel piatto.(ma anche no) Pasta zucchine e taleggio in alternativa al ragù Tomino e peperonata...il tomino crudo messo nell olio della.peperonata (ma anche no) di solito il contorno viene servito a parte soprattutto se è brodoso. In alternativa salsiccia alla griglia bruciata Dolce crostata. Caffè. Per la location che è Prato grande è un peccato non fare funzionare una baita del genere. Per 25€ il menù 2 h di attesa sotto al sole mi spiace dirlo ma nn ne vale la.pena! Peccato! R	Riccardo Sgorbati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiamato 3 volte il giorno prima...nessuna risposta o eventuale richiamata da parte loro, mattino seguente(giorno della partenza) richiamo, ma il nulla...mi vedo costretto a scrivergli su WhatsApp e lo giunge una risposta, vabbè. arrivati il rifugio si presenta quasi abbandonato a livello estetico, è stato lasciato com'era...vabbè Pieno di tavolini 1 solo ombrellone(per gli amici del proprietario) Servizio lunghissimo a volte di dimenticano le ordinazioni, il piatto del giorno(unico) era polenta con spezzatino o salame cotto, tralasciando la qualità, prima ci sono stati portati i piatti poi seguentemente tovaglie, posate e bevande. Seguentemente ordiniamo del salame perché l'affettatrice era rotta e non avevano altro. Poco dopo ad un altro tavolo viene proposto anche un tagliere di formaggi con del miele della zona(tavolo di amici). Unico punto a favore tralasciando il posto direi personale cordiale. Un solo consiglio: ragazzi le persone ingeriscono quello che cucinate, è un atto di grande fiducia, ricordatelo. Sicuramente servirebbe una figura un po' più esperta per organizzare meglio il tutto. Comunque in bocca al lupo. Two stars to encourage young people who still put their effort into it. For the rest I prefer not to comment on food, price and organization. Just one piece of advice: guys, people ingest what you cook, it's an act of great trust, remember that. Surely a slightly more experienced figure would be needed to better organize everything. l	luciano nebuloni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto bello .... non posso dire altrettanto del servizio al rifugio. Il nostro tavolo a differenza degli altri non era neppure apparecchiato. Nonostante avessimo prenotato con due giorni di anticipo ci siamo dovuti accontentare di quello che era rimasto.....poco! Ritengo che con una prenotazione devi assolutamente garantire un servizio adeguato. Ci tengo a precisare che essendo un rifugio non avevamo grandi pretese. I gestori di definiscono hobbisti questo però non deve gravare sul servizio che dovrebbero offrire. Un consiglio.....cambiate mestiere!!!! Very nice place .... I can't say the same about the service at the refuge. Our table unlike the others was not even set. Although we had booked two days in advance we had to settle for what was left ..... little! I believe that with a reservation you absolutely must guarantee an adequate service. I want to clarify that being a refuge we did not have great expectations. Managers call themselves hobbyists but this should not burden the service they should offer. A tip ..... change jobs !!!!

Tutto veramente molto buono, dall'antipasto ai dolci. Se si aggiunge la bellezza del luogo... Speriamo riescano a mantenere aperto il rifugio Fair prices, freshly prepared dishes (no precooked foods) (so don't expect a menu with many choices). All really very good, from appetizers to desserts. If you add the beauty of the place ... Let's hope they can keep the shelter open

Unica eccezione per chi era particolarmente simpatico, ed allora si chiudeva un occhio (evidentemente, noi no). Chi era senza prenotazione poteva accontentarsi di panini con tipici salumi piacentini: direi che questi erano decisamente buoni (unica eccezione, per chi era particolarmente loquace, la possibilità di panini con il formaggio... noi no). Location decisamente incantevole, prezzi adeguati. Un punto in più come incoraggiamento per chi si è preso l'onere di aprire questo posto con grande entusiasmo. Tornerò con un grande carico di allegria. We weren't able to experiment with cooking, as it was reserved for those who had booked (obviously, we don't). The only exception was for those who were particularly nice, and then they turned a blind eye (obviously, we don't). Those without a reservation could settle for sandwiches with typical Piacenza salami: I would say that these were very good (the only exception, for those who were particularly talkative, the possibility of sandwiches with cheese ... we don't). Definitely enchanting location, adequate prices. An extra point as an encouragement for those who have taken the burden of opening this place with great enthusiasm. I will return with a great load of joy.
P	Paolo Ballarini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il "Prato Grande", un enorme distesa pianeggiante, che ricorda una prateria, su un altipiano a 1440m., al di sotto del Monte Ragola; infatti è presente un Rifugio, da cui prende il nome, quasi sempre chiuso! Da tenere presente che ci si trova all’interno di un enorme recinto, che comprende anche il Monte Ragola, per il pascolo delle mucche, quindi è molto facile incontrarle, oltre ai loro prodotti fisiologici…si infatti! Comunque sia il posto ideale per passare una giornata in un ambiente alpestre, all’insegna della pace e della tranquillità, visto che sull’estremo opposto del Rifugio sono presenti dei tavoli con panchine, all’ombra degli alberi! Un modo per arrivarci è parcheggiare al Passo dello Zovallo, che dispone di un enorme spiazzo, per poi incamminarsi ed entrare in questo enorme recinto, passando dalle apposite aperture in corrispondenza dei sentieri! Preparatevi a farvi circa un ’ora di camminata con parecchi sali e scendi, più o meno impegnativi! Notizia di contorno: passerete anche in mezzo a parecchi arbusti di Pino Mugo, un tipo di pino assai raro! The "Prato Grande", a huge flat expanse, reminiscent of a prairie, on a plateau at 1440m., Below Monte Ragola; in fact there is a refuge, from which it takes its name, almost always closed! Get ready to walk about an hour with several ups and downs, more or less demanding! Side note: you will also pass through several Pugo Mugo shrubs, a very rare type of pine!
