Our local friend brought us here (beware - it is quite a long and winding drive uphill) and we were bowled over from the second we arrived. Amazing views all-round with a chalet type restaurant perched on the hill. They seem to run a farm too, so I am sure we eat locally produced veggies.
Service is great too, despite the waitress being on her own.
Good wholesome and hearty food. Very Austrian. Really strange for us to sit in Italy and eat Austrian food. Well, read about the history of the South Tyrol....
Take the drive, and come!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food made with fresh and local ingredients. Here you can taste local dishes from our region enjoying a spectacular view and breathing nice fresh air. I only have to say that a little of salt was missing from my pasta plate and I would have enjoyed the gnocchi with ricotta to have some fresh ricotta inside instead of it to be in the dough. They were delicious anyway! The most amazing thing was the cake made with grano saraceno and berries. Outstanding! The plates are also very beautiful to see, take a look at my pics?

With a nice view and very cozy athmosphere, dining in here was a plasure. The owner/chef Paolo is an amazing person, very friendly and kind, the food is delicious and the ingredients are spot on quality. The rest of the staff was nice too. Highly reccommended
