Si arriva alla dolce piana d'Alben pascoli e collinette. Siamo vicini, a lato dei Piani di Artavaggio, per camminare ci si può divertire. Rifugio ottima gestione. It is nice to come here from the Bergamo Val Taleggio to Pizzino, Quindici, in just over an hour along the well-marked path 120. You arrive at the gentle plain of Alben, pastures and hills. We are close, next to the Piani di Artavaggio, for walking you can have fun. Excellent management retreat.

Circa 60 posti al coperto e altrettanti all’aperto e possibilità di pernottamento. Cucina semplice ma buona e abbondante, servizio attento alle norme COVID-19 ( controllo del green pass, distanziamento e igienizzazione). Il rifugio si può raggiungere con diversi percorsi es. dai Piani di Artavaggio in 90 minuti senza dislivello e da Pizzino seguendo il sentiero 120 in 1 h con 370 mt di dislivello ma accessibile anche a famiglie con bambini. Dal Gherardi è possibile proseguire per altri Rifugi es. Rifugio Nicola in 70 minuti o godersi il bellissimo paesaggio sdraiati su un prato! Consigliato anche agli escursionisti poco esperti! Typical Spartan mountain retreat but clean and well managed by OMG volunteers (Operation Mato Grosso). About 60 indoor seats and the same number of outdoor seats and the possibility of staying overnight. Simple but good and abundant cuisine, attentive service to COVID-19 regulations (control of the green pass, spacing and sanitation). The refuge can be reached with different routes eg. from Piani di Artavaggio in 90 minutes without altitude difference and from Pizzino following the path 120 in 1 hour with 370 meters of altitude difference but also accessible to families with children. From Gherardi it is possible to continue to other Refuges eg. Nicola refuge in 70 minutes or enjoy the beautiful landscape lying on a meadow! Also recommended for inexperienced hikers!

Piatti sufficienti ( la pasta al ragù non ė molto "montana") Tagliere nella media Non fanno lo scontrino!!!!! L	LAURA T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il rifugio Gherardi si trova a 1650 mt nella val Taleggio. Sentiero di un'oretta che parte dal Comune di Taleggio con accesso a pagamento di 3 euro. Il rifugio è aperto e offre piatti non locali a base sostanzialmente di pasta al pomodoro e taglieri di salumi e formaggi. I dolci sono fatti in casa. Il locale internamente non ha nulla di caratteristico e all'esterno molto tavoli per chi vuole consumare un pranzo al sacco. Una nota davvero dolente sono i rifiuti sui tavoli che vengono lasciati abbandonati e non sono ritirati dal gestore del rifugio o chi per esso. A causa del vento tovagliolini in giro per la montagna, bottiglie di plastica e vetro rotolate per terra non è proprio un bello spettacolo e soprattutto non c era nessuno che ne occupava The Gherardi refuge is located at 1650 meters in the Taleggio valley. T	Tibi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio gestito dai volontari dell'operazione nato grosso, bella passeggiata per arrivarci facile da fare anche con i bambini. Ottimo il pranzo (polenta con brasato o salsiccia+ strudel spaziale alla fine ) e gestori gentilissimi. Gli incassi del rifugio sono destinatiai progetti del OMG !! Grande cosa ... All'esterno grande prato per prendere il sole o rilassarsi o fare picnic. Non c'e' ombra quindi d'estate meglio portarsi protezioni adeguate.
