 Very nice refuge, good food and availability for those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. The owner advised me in advance with an excellent vegan alternative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Penso che un luogo così su una zona importante per quanto riguarda la grande guerra, deve essere tenuto meglio. Entrando sembra di essere in un bar di paese. Per il percorso e il panorama che si ammira in cima allo Zugna merita sicuramente 5 stelle
I think that a place like this on an area that is important as far as the great war is concerned, must be kept better. Entering it feels like being in a village bar. For the route and the panorama that can be admired at the top of the Zugna it certainly deserves 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio/bar/ristorante a 1616mt: tutto quello che serve quando si vuole vivere appieno il Monte Zugna in ogni stagione! Gestori cordiali e pronti a dare suggerimenti e consigli e cibo ottimo. Ampio e comodo parcheggio.
Salendo da Rovereto la strada costeggia il Trincerone e luoghi storici della Grande Guerra. Proseguendo oltre il rifugio (a piedi o in mountain bike) si arriva al Parco della Pace e in cima a 1864mt, dove c'è, oltre alla Storia, anche una vista mozzafiato. Si può poi proseguire per Passo Buole o scendere a Matassone lungo la parete di roccia in Vallarsa. Ci sono molti sentieri ben tenuti e ben tracciati sia sulla parte sotto che sulla parte sopra al Rifugio.

Going up from Rovereto, the road runs alongside the Trincerone and historic sites of the Great War. Continuing beyond the refuge (on foot or by mountain bike) you arrive at the Peace Park and at the top of 1864mt, where there is, in addition to history, also a breathtaking view. You can then continue to Passo Buole or descend to Matassone along the rock face in Vallarsa. There are many well-kept and well-marked paths both on the part below and on the part above the Refuge.
