★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another cool local place to spend a day or stay over night between the valley of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Selva di Cadore passo Giau . Nice place for ski alpers or winter and summer hiking. Good food , quiet place .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our sandwich was delicious but we never got to try the soups because THEY WOULDN’T SERVE ANYTHING BUT SANDWICHES IN THIS ONE ROOM. Even though we were right next to the kitchen they refused to serve us anything but sandwiches.
When we asked to sit in the restaurant So we could have soup (about 2/3 of tables were empty), were told they were reserved. After eating our sandwich lunch most of those tables were still empty.
We are still very, very confused. The sausage sandwich WAS delicious (hence 3 stars instead of 1). For clarity, they only serve soup in the “restaurant” room, not in the “bar” room. So we had to watch bowls of soup passing by us on the way to the restaurant while we ate sandwiches.
Overall, if you don’t know the secret handshake you can’t eat in the restaurant, apparently.
