La location e l'insieme è fantastica, il rifugio, nonché la chiesetta di Santa Croce sono molto belli, accoglienti e ben tenuti. Che dire tutto è giusto e perfetto! 1355 meters sweaty but then beautiful. The location and the whole is fantastic, the refuge, as well as the church of Santa Croce are very beautiful, welcoming and well kept. What about everything is right and perfect!

Possiede tutti i confort di un rifugio sebbene senza personale: camino, dispensa, stufa, tegameria, luce (tramite pannello solare e batterie), etc. Sul soppalco comode brande: perfetto! Managed by the association of Belvedere Marittimo (CS), it is located in an enchanting corner of the Orsomarso Mountains, in the Pollino Park. It has all the comforts of a refuge although without staff: fireplace, pantry, stove, pan, light (via solar panel and batteries), etc. Comfortable beds on the mezzanine: perfect!

Al di là dei panorami mozzafiato e di una natura ancora incontaminata e con una biodiversità incredibile, quello che ha reso questa esperienza unica e indimenticabile è stata l'accoglienza del gruppo degli "amici della montagna" e in particolare di Mario Capano, Presidente dell'associazione, che è stato la nostra guida locale. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati come se fossimo amici di vecchia data e abbiamo potuto assaporare tutto il calore di questa terra stupenda che questi meravigliosi ragazzi ci hanno trasmesso. Grazie "Supermario" e grazie a tutti i ragazzi dell'associazione che ci hanno fatto vivere un'esperienza incredibile che auguro a tutti di provare! The experience we lived in the trekking that led us to the Belvedere refuge was nothing short of fantastic! Beyond the breathtaking views and unspoiled nature and incredible biodiversity, what made this experience unique and unforgettable was the welcome of the group of "friends of the mountain" and in particular of Mario Capano, President of the association, who was our local guide. We felt pampered as if we were old friends and we were able to savor all the warmth of this wonderful land that these wonderful guys have transmitted to us. Thanks "Supermario" and thanks to all the guys of the association who made us live an incredible experience that I wish everyone to try!

E’ ubicato in un posto bellissimo ma quello che lo rende ancora più speciale è l’ospitalità offerta dagli Amici della Montagna che ci hanno accolti e ospitati con calore ed entusiasmo. L’entusiasmo di chi ama la propria terra ed è felice se può condividerne le emozioni. Un’esperienza intensa da vivere almeno una volta nella vita. Grazie Mario Capano Presidente dell’Associazione e grazie a tutti gli amici della montagna che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno calabrese semplicemente fantastico. The Belvedere refuge can be reached by a panoramic path that lets you enjoy a wild and authentically genuine Calabria surrounded by loricated pines, beech trees and the sea. It is located in a beautiful place but what makes it even more special is the hospitality offered by the Friends of the Mountain who welcomed and hosted us with warmth and enthusiasm. The enthusiasm of those who love their land and are happy if they can share its emotions. An intense experience to be lived at least once in a lifetime. Thanks Mario Capano President of the Association and thanks to all the friends of the mountain who made our Calabrian stay simply fantastic.

La vista del mare che si gode è impagabile. Da ritornare per una notturna, ideale in tutte le stagioni Beautiful place, the refuge is well equipped and located in a strategic place, it is an excellent stopping point for excursions to the Orsomarso mountains. N	Nunzio My on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco il Rifugio dalla sua costruzione, anzi l'ho visto in costruzione durante la mia prima escursione nella zona diversi anni fa. Se oggi non è anch'esso un rudere devastato o abbandonato come tanti altri sulle nostre montagne lo si deve alla costante e infaticabile dedizione degli Amici della Montagna che ne curano pazientemente la manutenzione e la gestione. La sistemazione (un confortevole "bivacco" di montagna) è funzionale, il sito bello e base per escursioni affascinanti. Nunzio My Cai Grottaglie I have known the Refuge from its construction, indeed I saw it under construction during my first excursion in the area several years ago. If today it is not a devastated or abandoned ruin like so many others in our mountains, it is due to the constant and tireless dedication of the Amici della Montagna who patiently take care of its maintenance and management. Made us feel at home; best local food. The hike is a consistent part of the pleasure. Highly recommended
