Ci ritornerò primavera prossima per nuova escorsione. Merita la vista dalla croce che domina tutta la zona. Very nice and easy trip, especially a stone's throw from the city. The refuge on Sunday is open and offers food, coffee and drinks upon reservation. It deserves the view from the cross that dominates the whole area.
L	Laura Fiini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si raggiunge il rifugio da molti sentieri ai piedi della montagna, uno di questi è dalla località Pieve (parcheggio agriturismo il castello). 40 minuti di camminata e si arriva alla casa degli Alpini, ottima posizione per vedere tutta Brescia. Attrezzata per fare pic-nic. You reach the refuge from many paths at the foot of the mountain, one of these is from the Pieve locality (the castle farm parking lot). 40 minutes of walking and you arrive at the Alpini's house, an excellent position to see all of Brescia. "Our homegrown refuge" is always beautiful: a stone's throw from home, it overlooks the bay of Concesio and its neighbors, and on a clear day the eye sweeps endlessly towards the south.

Una bellissima passeggiata, i sentieri per raggiungere il rifugio sono comodi, ben segnalati, ben curati, un ottimo modo di passare un pomeriggio estivo! (Ricordatevi di portare una bottiglia d'acqua e frutta fresca, la fontanella non offre granché). Although it was closed, we took advantage of the large "grill point", the spacious canopy, the rustic but comfortable tables. A beautiful walk, the paths to reach the refuge are comfortable, well marked, well cared for, a great way to spend a summer afternoon! (Remember to bring a bottle of water and fresh fruit, the fountain doesn't offer much).

Rifugio gestito dagli Alpini rustico e confortevole. Place reachable with a nice walk of an hour and a half, also visiting natural caves during the journey. Possibilità nella stagione estiva anche di organizzare pic-nic e grigliate all'aperto.
