★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oltrepassando la soglia del civico n. 7 in via Bianchi Dottula vi ritroverete nella tipica corte del borgo antico. Ma alzando gli occhi scoprirete una grandiosa fuga di archi a tutto sesto svettanti contro il cielo. Le colonne sono decorate da capitelli a motivi vegetali inoltre, salendo attraverso una scala in pietra che porta alle varie abitazioni della corta, potrete scoprire, ad ornare una moderna edicola votiva dedicata a S. Nicola, tabernacolo seicentesco inciso a grani di rosario.
E' quel che rimane dell'antico monastero di epoca bizantino dedicato a San Niccolò dei greci, edificato più di mille anni e che col tempo ha talmente mutato i suoi utilizzi e la sua struttura da essere oggi irriconoscibile e "nascosto" all'interno di un'anonima abitazione privata.
 Crossing the threshold of number n. 7 in via Bianchi Dottula you will find yourself in the typical courtyard of the ancient village. But looking up you will discover a grand flight of round arches soaring against the sky. The columns are decorated with capitals with plant motifs. Furthermore, climbing through a stone staircase that leads to the various houses of the short one, you can discover, adorning a modern votive shrine dedicated to St. Nicholas, a seventeenth-century tabernacle engraved with rosary beads.
It is what remains of the ancient Byzantine monastery dedicated to San Niccolò dei Greci, built over a thousand years and that over time has changed its uses and its structure so much that it is now unrecognizable and "hidden" within an anonymous private home.
